I don't think you understand the amount of talent that lsu has had in it's history. He's damn good, but shaq and maravich are the best.

He has serious potential though.

To me he is a better version of Ronnie Henderson. Handles the ball and gets to the rim much better than henderson did but can shoot it like Ronnie could.

The saddest part is the morons who overreact like this now, will be the first ones to start trashing him IF he has a bad game or two. Simmons, before he played a game, during every game he played, and until he left LSU, was rated the number one pick for the NBA draft. Thomas currently holds a 2nd round grade in the NBA draft. Quit being so damn stupid people.

I just don’t understand why they can’t celebrate the kid and keep it focused on what he’s doing without bringing in alltime greats to demean him? Why not compare him to Suggs from Gonzaga or other upper level wings currently playing? I guess when you don’t watch college basketball you don’t even know who those guys are to bring up.

He reminds me of Waters, in that they have that killer instinct. Tremont had a better ball handle, Thomas is a better shooter.

Both of them way more fun to watch than Simmons
