It will be Arkansas, and it will suck.
It historically was a miserable Friday after Thanksgiving game. I was actually starting to like playing A&M on Saturday.

Arkansas is not one of LSU’s permanent opponents. So. wouldn’t the opponent for the last game change every year?

A lot of people will hate the Black Friday game but I always liked that you could kick back on Rivalry Saturday and spend the entire day soaking up the last week of the regular season.

It will either be Arkansas and Oklahoma in alternating years or Oklahoma annually. Arkansas will not be a permanent opponent.

Next year is just a stop gap. It’s likely LSU is playing Arkansas on 11/30 next year, but that doesn’t preclude it becoming OU annually when they adopt a 3-6 model. I still think it’s more likely they’ll alternate between the two and keep Bama as the third permanent opponent.

LSU football is meant to be played on Saturdays, preferably Saturday nights. I hate the Sunday openers and Black Friday games.
