LSU under bo p couldn't defend the spread option to save its life, and WV had a top 10 D based on pressuring the QB. our OL was not good against teams who could bring a good pass rush

Brian Kelly will be the next coach at LSU. God I hope so.

It would be a little bit of a risk. The last time we hired a coach from a small school (Hallman from S. Miss) it didn't work out too well.

Same goes for Gary Patterson.

I'd much rather have a proven coach at a mid-level school....like Jim Harbaugh or somebody like that.

I agree. This would never work.

Doesn't mean WV would have won! Our OL then was better than now.....just fyi.

kelly fits the coaching profile of a great coach for a big program

-job jumper? yes
-does he control 1 side of the ball? yes
-has he won everywhere he's been? yes

i mean shite kelly has already won a goddamn BCS conference title

We struggled against La Tech and ULL & Washington has more yards on offense than us. Your point?

While I agree, some think Stoops is the choice.

We can play this game if you want, tit for tat. Hawkins, Hallman...

Kelly's offense looks stellar at UC. Not 100% sold on him at LSU. If you are, well you view things quite differently than I.

Looks really good. I think he will be a good QB if drafted by the right team. Seems to have the ability to make all the throws.

Would you guys say Cincy's offense is similar to Texas Techs? In that case, it is just a system offense and whoever is taking snaps will do well but not necessarily a NFL QB.
