Should next year's squad be one that builds on a 9-10 win season? Next year we return a SR QB, at the least we've got a ton of returning o-line experience, we add a 5 star running back in Emery, young revievers have a year of experience....

On the defensive side we lose Greedy and White which are big holes to fill but other than that we shouldn't be reamed by departures on defense.

2019 should figure to be the most favorable set up for Coach O so far. Get past Texas in week two and the schedule is fairly favorable. Auburn, Florida and A&M are home games.

The pieces are there to be a contender IMO.

Isn't that what was said going into this season since Orgeron had all of the coaches he wanted in place?

You feel top 10 finishes require apologies?

Absolutely. Returning DL and OL and QB with more talent in the backfield. Way easier schedule as well. I expect nothing less than the SEC Championship.

I mean we were fairly universally picked to win 6-7 games this season. There weren't high expectations coming into the year. 2019 should be different at least from a pre season sense.

Absolutely, without a doubt, yes.

Nobody was saying that, and if they were, then they needed a reality check. We returned close to 0 production and experience on offense going into this year while also implementing a different system than the previous year.

The same people saying our OL is as talented as a Sun Belt team were saying in the preseason they would wreck shop this year.

We do get Chaisson back and Stingley should contribute, so I'm gonna call it close to a wash on D with all the other returning experience.

What are they gonna do? Give Orgeron an extension, then fire him after they lose 4 games?

An extension means at least 5-6 years before they could afford to get rid of him.

Remember how fricking awful Ole Miss was?

You get Auburn, A&M and Florida at home

Vanderbilt replaces Georgia

State loses its entire defense and Fitzgerald

Ole Miss loses its entire Offense

We should be favored in every game except Bama and Texas will be a pick em.

Need to push for the playoffs next year if not make them
