You lost all credibility with this simple statement:

I like Les & he has a great record. Sometimes he is not so good as a game day coach. His biggest fault is he doesn't play the best players instead he play's seniors or older players, that has cost us some games. That's why I can't get too excited about Jennings because he could be Manning & probably not be given a chance this year.

So so so stupid. This has been proven false so many times.

Words to the effect that with better QB play, we might have had four national championships in the last 8 years.

Do you watch the games? Miles plays tons of freshmen.

Jennings should be in high school right now. Let's slow down a bit.

For the last eight years we have been told the QB position was fixed and we would have productive play at that position for the duration of the spring and summer practice sessions.

By the third or fourth game each year, reality had set in.

I am anxilously awaiting the season to arrive and see if the problem is really fixed.

I wonder which 4 seasons Les is referring to? I'm thinking the '05, '06, '07, '11 seasons were the potential championship years he had in mind.

In the future I hope that he is able to return to the days of MF and RP, when he didn't hesitate to rotate QBs if one was struggling and not moving the offense.

1. He didn't do that with MF and RP. MF was our qb and RP played in planned series with a limited set of plays. I don't recall RP ever replacing MF because he was struggling.

2. Do you really want a coach who pulls the starter every time he struggles? The JJ/JL situation was extreme, as they both had experience starting and JL appeared better at times, but I don't want a coach who pulls his starting qb if he has a few bad series.

So you think we should have had better qb play than the #1 overall NFL draft pick?

He stuck with JJ

He was playing the QB who offered LSU the best chance of winning.

Unless you think a QB rating of 65 with 1 TD and 7 ints against Alabama gave LSU the best chance to win.

It also sounds like Miles was cutting down Jefferson and Lee without naming them

just because someone acknowledges the facts, The facts that every one in the world that has been watching LSU Football for the last 8 years believes and knows to be the case does not make it a classless act.

2010 with the 24-17 loss to Auburn (worst SEC defense to win the BCS title) and 31-23 loss to Arkansas. If our offense could've taken 6 more seconds off the clock in the first half, they get one less TD.

LINK

quote:

LSU advanced near midfield but punted into the Arkansas endzone with six seconds to play.

The Tigers were then burned for an 80-yard touchdown pass from Mallett to Hamilton to stun the LSU defense with no time left on the clock

And the UT game wouldn't have been as close if we get a TD outside of the first and last plays of the game....even though I'm not sure I'd want to change how that game went down.
