Words to the effect that with better QB play, we might have had four national championships in the last 8 years. Sounds like he's excited about Jennings. Talked more about him than any other player. He worked the crowd, including the Neville coaches, who had a table to themselves. Gave a shout out to Niswanger, who was there. In all, seemed relaxed, but focused and sure of himself. I think we will be very happy in the near future.
CNC and CJJ also spoke. Caldwell was intense. You can't help but be a WBB fan by listening to her. If I used one word to describe CJJ, it would be excited. He talked about how happy he was to have JOBIII coming back, and a bit about the signees. Said Jarell Martin is further along in his development than Glen Davis and Tyrus Thomas were at the same point in their careers.
Other highlights: Next up in the facilities arms race: A "Tiger Sports Grill" for athletes. A place where they can hang out and get healthy meals. I don't know how they'll get around the NCAA rule against training tables, but apparently they've found a loophole.
And if you saw the only guy with a ponytail there tonight, congratulations on spotting Jim Rockford.

All I need is a beard to look like one of the Robertsons.

I took some, but the light wasn't good and I was too far back from the stage.

Perhaps this comes from our new OC. Looking forward to seeing what Coach Cameron can do with the guys in hand.

He also talked about Cam and Hootie without naming them on the news. His way of naming them without naming them was hilarious. Btw, he went to the hospital and visited Coach Shows.
Les is all class.

Doesn't matter, he doesn't go undefeated every year. Fire him.

Disagree with this.
It also sounds like Miles was cutting down Jefferson and Lee without naming them. Miles has more class than that.

The most exciting thing is that he acknowledges that with good QB play this team was capable of winning multiple championships over the last four years. I hope Mett plays well this year and that Rivers, Jennings and Rettig all develop into effective QBs under Cam's tutelage.
But, here is the most important thing. If that happens, I hope that Miles plays the QB that gives the team the best chance of winning. He stuck with JJ even when he wasn't being effective and showed a real reluctance to play JL. In the future I hope that he is able to return to the days of MF and RP, when he didn't hesitate to rotate QBs if one was struggling and not moving the offense.
Most of the debate on this board about QBs comes from the fear that Miles prioritizes running over passing in his QBs and will play a running QB even if he isn't effective in the passing game. I suspect (hope) that this will change if he has two or three good QBs at his disposal.
LSU needs a dual threat offense, meaning one that can pass and run effectively. That means that the QB must be able to pass effectively. If he can also run the ball, then that is a bonus. However, if he can run but not pass effectively then we are back to a one dimensional offense and that has cost us championships.

You lost all credibility with this simple statement:

I agree but that situation was created by the staff. I'll give them a pass for the Perrilloux situation but by the 2010 season it should have been fixed.
Miles won a lot of games with an almost non-existent passing game. That's great but I'd rather see LSU win championships than reminisce on what could have been.
