Geeze that was a bad team. Athletically they looked like a UL team at every position. I can't see how you would see any glimmer of hope with that group, I honestly almost felt sorry for them lol.

They lost to TAM 27-10 and GA 27-20
Maybe we are pretty good

Hugh Freeze will get them together over the next few years. You can tell he has them hopeful because got dang those were some sad faces on the sideline as the game was coming to an end

The Auburn fans I know are excited about their new coach and the team looks better than it did under the old coach to me.

LSU is a decent team, but Auburn is terrible. Other than possibly MSU, there's no SEC team they can beat this year.

The Auburn offense is shockingly poor, and the defense got exposed Saturday night

LSU is a horrible match up with auburn. They will play Bama much closer then people think. That is a much better team for them.

What is sad is they would be OK if they still had Bo Nix.

They are not horrible but I will agree LSU was a horrible matchup for them.

LSU is going to score on everyone (Minus a bad outing by Daniels) and Auburn offense is well below average.

There was no way Auburn was going to be able to keep up with LSU in this game unless Daniels was off and he wasn't. That doesn't make them a horrible team.

They’d probably be a pretty solid team if they still had him. They can play D and run the ball.

the only thing worse than LSU's defense is Auburn's offense

I wonder what Freeze’s reaction will be when he realizes that other schools can pay kids too now.

Freeze said before the season started that they were understaffed. He will bring top talent and coach them up. Watch out in 2 years.

Not picking on you…it’s just amazing that we can have this mature outlook about other teams and coaches yet act the way we do about our own coach who inherited the garbage program that he did while expecting to compete for the natty in year 1 and 2

My sister’s side of the family all went to AU.
They are incredibly depressed over there team. They say Gus set them back to the stone age.
I keep telling them Hugh will right the ship quickly. I think they will beat Bama this year. They just need to gel under a good coach. Im not looking forward to playing them in the future.

CFB is cyclical, every team will experience the highs and lows of winning, losing, inferior talent, and poor coaching. Texas, OU, USC, MIA, ALA, ND, FLA, MICH, CLEM, tOSU, etc... have all won NC's and eventually fell from the mountain top.

Yes, Auburn is going through a transition. Happens to all teams with a new coaching staff. There's always a glimmer of hope since many kids still love their University and give 100%. Do you remember the LSU team vs. Kansas State which was < 2 years ago ? Yeah, that team looked like a UL team due to Orgeron not giving a FK after winning the NC. These kids were FR on that TEXAS BOWL team: Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr., Nuss, Chris Hilton, Mason Smith, Jacobian Guillory, Greg Penn, Sage Ryan, Savion Jones ..... they have come a long way and kudos to them for sticking around while many others transferred .

I was apprehensive about Hugh Freeze getting a job anywhere in the SEC except LSU. It is not going to be fun facing him once he gets it rolling at Auburn.
