That 1:45 drive before half with 3 timeouts was the worst clock management I’ve ever seen from a coaching staff and I remember some bad ones.

Sumrall is all mouth and catch phrases. Golesh was the 2nd best hire behind Kiffin the last coaching change cycle.

Wait, didn’t one of the national media guys say Florida this year was like 2019 LSU?

Sumrall is a good coach. Not quite as good as Kiffin in my opinion and Florida is in worse shape than LSU was.

You're judging a coaching cycle real early baw. But if we're doing that, Stein should be up there

The overreaction on these boards is funny as hell. Its his 1st season and 6th game ,you don’t turn chicken shite into chicken salad overnight. After 4 games a lot of yall thought we hired the wrong coach.Get a grip retards.

Kiffin was instant lightning success

Sumrall was going to take time wherever between building his culture, learning on the job stepping up into a big boy conference, etc. He didn’t step in with the immediate credibility Lane did so you’re a little limited in the portal/recruiting until you do that as well

Yes we made the better hire but that’s been known from day one. Like I’ve said, UF has to hate Kelly more than we do. Kiffin is probably a Gator if BK had given even half a frick

The media tried so hard to get us to hire one of the small school Louisiana coaches. Thank God we were thinking bigger. This time especially.

I don't think Sumrall is that good of a coach. He hasn't been anywhere longer than 3 years in his coaching career. He's been able to go in and do his "rah rah" BS and do ok, but then he bolts before he has to maintain a program. It'll be interesting to see how he will do if he stays at Florida longer than that. I don't think he'll be successful, especially when Faulkner inevitably leaves.

Also, I said it at the time, but putting Florida in the top 10 for their win over Ole Miss was an absolute joke. They might comeback and win this game today, because Beamer has no clue how to hold on to a lead, but regardless, they're not a top 10 team. They have some talent, but they're not (and weren't) a top 10 team.

Not just that, frickbaum said how happy Florida is to have Sumrall instead of Lane Kiffin too

I still can’t believe we got him

The UF background with Layla and her family, his loving his time in Florida, the Spurrier connection.

How UF let him get away is going to haunt them for a long time.

The same way people look back now with Saban like it was so obvious he was about to build a juggernaut, people are going to look back and marvel that all the big programs let Kiffin sit in Oxford for six years until LSU gave him the shot to build his legacy.
