I’m old and I know things.

Gentlemen (and ladies),
I’ve been and LSU football fan for a long time and I know problems what I see them. Coach Brian Kelly isn’t doing a very good job right now. We’re losing games we should be winning and we’re getting humiliated by teams like FSU and Bama.
Our coaching staff especially on the Defense are far below the standards that we expect LSU to be at. Our recruiting is not attracting the elite defensive players like we’re accustomed to having.
CBK doesn’t fight for our team during games. He just stands there looking overwhelmed when things go sideways. Other coaches and the Sec officials don’t fear him.
We’re in trouble.

FSU is 9-0 and in contention for the playoff
Alabama is 8-1 and just on the outside of contention to the playoff
Ole Miss is 8-1 and ranked in the Top 10

Wag, I'm also old & suffer from CRS, but..
Except for 2019, have you ever seen LSU have the offence that Kelley has? I go back to the Cannon days & I don't remember anything like this year, other than Borroweaux. I agree with you from a defensive point. It is not just the "Billy's & Joe's", the plan is wrong - its a B10 scheme vs. SEC athletics. I also don't think we have any idea how much we lost when the D-line coach went down in August.
Whatever, I am willing to give Kelley another year or so - like he says, he has a long term contract...but, he has to address the defensive side of the ball - he did this last year with special teams, so there is no reason to believe he will ignore the problem. And he has got to get into the same mind set re his kids behaver that the rest of the SEC coaches have. We can't cheer for convicts, but we don't have to expect Norte Dame alter boys.

BK is in way over his head. He will not be able to turn things around. He cannot coach or recruit at this level. He'll throw everyone else under the bus before he takes responsibility, and he will never fight for this program like he's paid to do.

'Outside of contention"? If Bama wins out they are in the playoffs. Outside would be if they need other teams to lose. They don't. Win out and they are in.

The lack of emotion really is troubling to me. I’m not saying you have to blow a gasket at everything, like Saban, but absolutely no reaction when you QB is totally demolished on a cheap shot and all your only reaction is, oh well, they said they reviewed it and it wasn’t targeting. Heck, it doesn’t hurt to show some emotion sometimes. Who knows, it might light a fire under your soft arse defense!

Our starting QB was taken out had a lot to do with the Bana loss. Name one team that loses their starting QB and does well.

I saw Kelly screaming at the refs on numerous occasions.
He absolutely should have raised hell on the Daniels hit, though.

Brian Kelly is a politician that happens to coach football. He’s always going to win the Monday press conference.
