Lmao. Yeah dude, you are a doctor, right. Hell, I'm a rocket scientist. Seriously, it's pretty easy to peg your intelligence level just by reading your comments concerning O. You are either a troll or just a straight up dumbass.

Yeah...you can tell someone's intelligence from their opinion that happens to differ from yours? GFY dude.

Cool, if he signs a slew of top 3 classes he’ll be about where Miles was. How’s he doing on the field? Any hardware?

well what’s on paper to this point is pretty damn impressive. Idk if “reduced to” is that appropriate-more of a wait and see until the fall.

Never said it was a fact. It’s an opinion shared by many on this board, on both sides of the Orgeron fence.

2019 is the year he shows what he can do with this program.

quote:

This season could play out a lot of ways. Lsu plays 3 or 4 top ten teams. Lsu could easily go 10-2 and have a great season and keep the momentum in recruiting and the positive direction of the program.

If he goes 10-2 with this schedule then that’s his ceiling.

Like I said, it’s pretty self explanatory.

But on your mind, he should be fired at 10-2. Lol.

I never said anything about him being fired. You’re either projecting your insecurities or you can’t read very well.

I was not happy about the Orgeron hire and still wasn’t sold this past season. But I’m excited for what has been done by Orgeron since the season has ended. With his staff additions and having Aranda and Co still here, the returning starters, along with some potential day one impact freshman, this season could be the one we have been waiting on.

Burrow is much better than lots of fans think. I’m talking about top 5 QB in the country. He may not throw for 4,000 yards but he will not lose us games and I think he will put this team on his back and actually win some for us. He is a winner and this team believes they can beat anybody with him on their side. His teammates love him and trust in him to win games. Burrow has enough time in the offseason to be ready for the season and I fully expect him to be great. Last year he had no time with the team or offense and still did better than he should of with his limited time and new offense.

The weapons he has on offense along with Brady and time to learn the offense should give him everything he needs to be his best.

All we have is the offseason right now and what we see “on paper” is all we have to go on right now. And “on paper” this offseason has been great. The current recruiting class that LSU could potentially land with all this stud recruits is another sign that the program is on the rise.

Like I said in the OP, when the lights come on it could all go to shite but I don’t think that will happen. I’m excited about the season for the first time since O was hired and I like feeling this way. And yes I think that crazy shrimp boat captain has this team ready to frick the SEC up this year and bring home the big trophy. It may be a one year fluke for all I know but to me it feels like Bama is gonna get their arse kicked by these Tigers this November.

“On paper” this team is ready to take their rightful place at the top of the CFB mountain “on the field.”

As for the poster that took offense to me saying Burrow is the best leader since Rohan bc of Mauck and Flynn, I didn’t mean that as they weren’t good leaders. They were. But Rohan was on another level with his ability to have his teammates look up to him and trust him. He was loved by all except maybe Josh Booty. Burrow has that same trait. Just look at how this team loves him and how he won them over so quick. His toughness earned their respect. He will be a household name in CFB this year. He just has the “it” factor and he is the type that won’t accept losing.

I feel excited and confident this upcoming season and I’m not apologizing to anyone for it. It feels good to be excited to see this team without expecting a disappointing season. I’m riding!

I’m just an LSU fan.

I was pulling for him, like I was pulling for miles to win. This is a good talent accrual. Need to keep it.

But then you have to do some other things as a head coach, as winning depends on the following:

-Develop the talent
-Prepare the talent during The off-season
-Prepare the mens’ psyche Before the season to reject failure in every drill
-Develop an offense/defense/st game plan and identity
-teach these men that it is okay to destroy weaker teams so you can prepare your third stringers in these games for bigger games when our 1&2s go down or need air.
-make halftime and in-game adjustments
-create a culture of getting Stronger in the fourth quarter

You can win ~7 without doing these things. You can win 8-10 by doin g some of them.

But there are a few coaches out there that know how to do all of these things, every time. And they have translated it from 10 win seasons to 11-12 win seasons.

It takes all of that and more to win one or two more to separate yourselves from all the 10 Win teams (none of which were in the pac or big 10....whom also didn’t make it to the playoff).

Some coaches don’t see the point in spending all that time and effort to win one more, when a 10 win season will keep you at your job making $2+ million per year. While some just don’t know how to create that atmosphere.

O is collecting the talent to do it. This season is huge.

Helluva post sir.

Average rating > class ranking.
Our 2019 class would have been 3rd in 2014, extremely close to Miles class.

Different classes have different talent pools. Can't really take one class and say where it would fit in another year.

you can't JUST say that though.

20 4stars worse than 10 4s and 2 5s? Because that's a higher average

Because that's why the recruiting boards rank total points instead average. Just saying

It would seem a higher rated class regardless of ranking would be better than a lower rated class. Just common sense.

The top ranked class one year might not be as good as the 3rd another year

Like clockwork. Always have to tweak stats and skew how they’re viewed to make O look better

There's nothing tweaked. You simply don't understand recruiting.
