I’m not out on Leavitt but I do wish LK brought Austin Simmons with him

Simmons is a future pro. Leavitt? Not so much. There are no questions about Simmons’ arm and his ability to distribute the ball.

It’s plain to see Simmons has NFL size, the intelligence, and the arm. He could’ve been playing a SWAC schedule. It’s no slight against Leavitt but Simmons is just better and would fit our offensive skill players better.

Austin Simmons looks good so far. I agree.
I could also see LSU thinking it would have been cool to have him competing for QB 2 or even 1.
But if he were on the bench at LSU nobody would have seen him against the two powerhouses he's played this year.

Yes that’s why Simmons got benched for Chambliss last year. Because Simmons is so good and fits Lanes offense better… let’s forget he was an interception machine before he got hurt as well. fricking idiots on here man.

Now, I’m out on Leavitt after the Ole Miss game. That wasn’t a good secondary we faced but Leavitt can’t distribute the ball to our WRs. We will underachieve this season if we keep Leavitt as the starter.
