Just saying let’s give the man a chance. If it will make everyone happy. Bama just had their jocks handed to them today by Oky

What talent do you see that will turn this around for him cuz the 2023 class sucks and he's whiffed on the transfer portal outside of 1 or 2 guys.

I get being positive and hopeful but this is completely unproven blind optimism

He has the 51st ranked class. Vanilla TJ doesn’t look to be getting better anytime soon.

Yeah absolutely this is year 1 and the roster kind of got emptied. It’s hard sometimes though because Wade was going to have such a stacked team. This years team was going to be a legit title contender.

He had until year 3 in my mind. Based on the last 7 games, unless he does something dramatic to end the season he has to do markedly better next year to make it to year 3.

Unfortunately, unless everyone comes back and develops or he pulls a rabbit out of his hat in recruiting/portal, he only has next season for me. I think it will also be that way with the AD.

The only thing I think that would change this is if LSU gets some notable sanctions (I do not expect this).

I also wonder if the fact that the NCAA has not said anything more regarding the NOA has some recruits gun-shy.

After year 3 and coaching and play doesn’t improve. Look me up. Don’t get me wrong. I love our tigers. Win or lose. I just want to see our coach succeed and give the man a chance. Look at Nick and his first year at Bama. How do we know what the future holds. Did you ever work with someone new you felt wasn’t going to cut it but it worked out.

Well, in order to get talent you have to recruit it well too and so far looking at what he's doing now...

This is so overblown. Last year's team only was .500 in the SEC. But after losing Eason and Days (and likely Gaines and / or Fudge) Wade's freshman were going to fill those gigantic holes and push us to a title game? Sorry, I don't see it.

Nick had a top level recruiting class coming in for year 2. Nick also had won a sec title and nc title before. Bama was also at least competitive in those games he lost.

Mm isn’t recruiting, his team can’t score and we have seen some of the worst basketball we have seen including JJ and real TJ.

I don't think this is a thing at all.

Coach Mc seems like an upstanding guy. I want to see his coaching skills - and that's the issue for me. We suck at every level and haven't seen any in-season development. I'm a nice guy too , but not coaching a lick of basketball.

Which part, the latter is true Bama got their jock handed to them by Oklahoma— the former is starting to wear thin on the most seasoned basketball fans.

Im trying to not give up but I see nothing
No improvement
No energy
No recruits to save us
No future
And especially no commitment from the Administration that hired the other 3 big sport coaches

I mean we all do, that's why we are here.

McMahon is no Nick Saban. That's a bit of a reach.

Like I said, I'm not knocking your positivity but there is no recruiting evidence or even on court evidence that McMahon has what it takes to turn it around here. We all want to be wrong about him but the evidence is showing the contrary

Yep key metrics and evidence says MM is a mid major coach not a sec coach. We can choose to ignore that or we can realize he is likely to be a failure.

Turnovers are a product of coaching- No defense, no offense- its just a bad coached team- fundamentally they can not pass, shoot, rebound, make free throws- they do not play together at all

Our talent is very bad; this will not change until the passes final judgment on the program.

Oh you’re such a nice person! It’s college fricking basketball! You don’t need that much time. CMM ain’t it!

I know Woody isn't going to fire him until year 3 so I'm just resigned to our fate at this point. I will continue watching because I'm an LSU fan. I really hope MM turns it around. I really really do. I'm just not optimistic he can.
