I heard the hype for Speights and was curious to see how he’d do. I keyed on him as well and did not see anything special. Didn’t read runs early and attack running lanes. Small sample size but enough to see that he is not All SEC type backer. I was disappointed in Burns too. Not physical enough. Chestnut tried hard but was outmanned. It’s hard to single out anyone who played really well.

I feel like that was said when people were pumped about him. He was kinda of a stat compiler by being around but never really making the play

He looks slow & stiff. Not much good lateral movement at all.

This team is severely void of the type of talent we are used to seeing at LSU.

Wingo was easily the best player tonight in purple & gold.

Not too much to talk about sunny. The issues were obvious tonight.

Gotta get points in the red zone & can’t drop passes. Playcalling all together was uninspiring, especially in the RZ.

Feel bad for the defense cause I think they were playing good enough for lsu to win, until the offense couldn’t keep them off the field in the 2H. FSU was able to tee off.

The Perkins shite is confusing but I thought the pressure overall was good. Travis is just a really good off schedule. LSU should have had a second pick off of him due to pressure and he doesn’t throw picks.

Why does the OL still suck so bad?

Some of the other shite I should have seen coming but I did think the OL would be a strength this season

I like Greg Brooks, but on a peak DBU team he is a 4th DB like Ron Brooks. And he’s your best guy

Yup. We just need to assume they suck until they prove otherwise on the field

Need Stamps and Toviano to hit big time. Maybe Hughes too.

I love the DBs we have committed right now, but long way from seeing them obviously

Feel like they need to spread the offense out more. Everything is so horizontal. No throws to the middle of the field. And the run plays are just super basic. I thought they passed blocked well enough but the run game was weak especially in the RZ

Anderson muffed a punt & Sam almost knocked himself out making a tackle so he had to be helped off the field.
