I’m most interested to see how we start games under Kiffin.

It seemed over the last 4 years we routinely came out flat, unprepared and lackadaisical in big time ranked matchups.
It was almost comical how often we would go 3 and out to start out ranked matchups and go the whole first quarter scoreless. This is the biggest thing im excited to see how Kiffin changes Kiffin teams tend to be strike first.

seems like we'd have big opening drives that always got wasted going for it on 4th and goal. a lot.

Interested to see how much our redzone offense improves

With the tempo of this offense and the volume of plays per game, ideally it won’t matter who gets the ball to start the 3rd quarter.

You’re so right. Kelly would elect to go on offense to start the game, like a total dbag, and we’d trot out there and promptly go 3 and out, and any kind of momentum and confidence was gone. I really hope Lane can a) know what to do when we win the coin toss, and b) make our first possession a confidence boost instead of a total dud.

Going for it on 4th down in a situation that we should not be going for it on 4th down.
