Nothing wrong with DJ. You can just tell Peetz is more seasoned.

I like the same approach on defense, too. Please, don't give me a scheme nazi.

Peetz seems very detail oriented and like a good guy as well. I can see why they hired him.

Agreed. He is all about best players on the field and then adapting play calling and formations to them.

He seems VERY intelligent and has enough flexibility to adapt in game when shite isn't working.

It made me think of our five best offensive skill players going into next year, imagine this:

TDP and Emery either side of the QB, Boutte out wide by himself, then Koy and Jaray lined up on the side in a twin style formation. So many options, so so many...

Gray - most of us understand that Les won on talent alone, in spite of scheme and strategy.

Now yes, Les recruited that talent, so he gets credit for that. But Les also drastically underachieved, given the talent he had on his rosters.

In 5 of his 11 full seasons, he lost at least 3 SEC games. In his last 3 years, plus the stub in 2016, Les was 15-11 in the SEC. All with elite players up and down the roster.

And that's what eats at us.

Yeah
Peetz won't be here long.
He's on the fast track - if he does well enough you let Mangas learn under him and promote him at some point.

That's the type of guy you need recruiting these high school players now - I love Ensminger but the dinosaurs were holding this program back. You need these young energetic guys that can sell their system and get them ready for NFL.

Solid hire!

Let's see what we get on defense. Would love for it to be Nielsen from Saints. He would fit that same mold.

And the comment to Brooks was gold! He needs to go find work in Austin to cover his favorite team.

Brady must have been dead serious when he recommended Peetz, its pretty apparent he knows how to run an offense properly and utilize your best personnel to your advantange at all times.

Had he attended, he might've beaten Arkansas more often, gotten into fewer defensive struggles with the likes of Towson.

Besides, Mangas may be the guy down the road after Peetz moves on. I believe that's why he's back here with Peetz. He seems excited to be back at LSU.

Agreed Nicholastiger.

Watched the video for the first time. I really think this combination is going to produce Greta things for our offense going forward. Pumped to see the team competing next season.

I heard most of both press conferences. Both of these guys seem very sharp. I am very happy with the offensive hires. Now on to the defense.
