I’m going on record saying I don’t think Aranda will be our DC going forward

He will be poached by someone. This game reminded me a lot of Chavis’s last game before he slithered away to A&M. The lack of attention to detail and inability to make proper adjustments was unlike him. He’s not perfect, but this game felt different. Yes, we have injuries. Yes, we’re talking about 7 OTs and a gassed defense. Yes, we had guys playing who haven’t contributed much all season. Something still seemed off. Orgeron melting down to him spoke volumes, I think.

I hope I’m wrong. We need Dave Aranda.

What do you want Aranda to do when our head coach doesnt develop D-Line or pass rush?

No other school is desperate enough to pay a DC like a HC.

He is staying because he’s priced himself out of the market because LSU knows we’re fricked without him.

Please annotate a date and time as well as and asterisk for the possibility of him returning. Thanks for your continued efforts.

We gave up 24 points in regulation with two key starters out. The million points scored in OT really isn’t a gauge of performance due to players being totally exhausted.

I actually agree with you. I'm concerned.

Hope you are wrong too.

There was some complaining and barking going on between players that was different.

Plus Orgeron could be seen screaming at people after certain plays on the sidelines like he was specifically blaming or calling them out.

Looked ugly on TV.

I wouldn't be shocked if he left. Program internally looks like a shitshow in certain respects. If certain folks bail than Katie bar the door

I hope you’re wrong as well.

He actually did make excellent 2nd half adjustments. The muffed punt was just a bad break and they got the ball at the 20-25 yard line right?

I recognize that. Even stated as much in the OP. I think he is tired of developing players for his system, generally putting together excellent game plans each week, and having Ed Orgeron and the offense shite all over it while simultaneously not doing the same. That has to be frustrating.

You acknowledge all of this and still came to your silly conclusion.

We completely shut AM down in the second half except for a few throws at the end of regulation. All bets are off in overtime. That’s just reality.

ya because that is exactly what head coach job is, its not the job of defensive coordinators like aranda

He gave up 24 whole points when they didn’t start inside our 30, and he was missing fehoko, chaisson, Fulton, Joseph and Phillips for most of the OTs.

Also we scored on defense and we won that fricking game. Twice

Exactly. He shut them down in 2nd half until the refs started sucking.

I think he’ll get HC offers this off season. We’ll soon find out if he wants to be a HC.

I don’t remember exactly where they got the ball, but that’s my point. Once again he and the defense do everything right, only to be shite on and forced to once again carry the weight because of the lack of execution and poor decision making by the coaches on the offensive side of the ball.

I want him to go, so Orgeron can be completely and finally exposed and fired, along with Alleva. Don't believe that this group can lead us to championships.

cant say you are wrong, i had that same uneasy feeling watching the game that aranda didnt seem to be invested in winning this game, for whatever reason.

maybe he felt it was a meaningless game so he wasnt as invested as he should be but the defense didnt show up
