I love all the posts the past twenty hours that were like “he caught the ball turned and took three steps!!!”

It was a very close call that I think should have gone our way but in live speed I can absolutely see how it was called the other way.

I’m not 100% convinced he isn’t bobbling and still trying to secure the ball before Delpit brings the pain.

I don't think anyone actually thinks this. It's such a joke that a program like LSU would actually hire him. Still amazes me to this day when I think about it

Completely mind blowing :geauxtigers:

10-3. Will we be happy with that? Of course not. But, I would venture to say that a coach in his situation coming off a 10-3 record is probably gonna get extended 99% of the time.

Les Miles wasn’t extended after going 11-2 in 2010.

Or after winning the SEC at 13-1 in 2011.

He was extended after going 10-3 in 2012 and that is widely criticized as one of the worst mistakes our AD has ever made.

He was not extended after going 10-3 yet again in 2013.

He was effectively fired after going 9-3 (10-3 with McNeese) in 2015.

Your post is laughably wrong :geauxtigers:
No other school is desperate enough to pay a DC like a HC.

He is staying because he’s priced himself out of the market because LSU knows we’re fricked without him.

LSU could legitimately have three top-10 conference opponents on their annual schedule for the foreseeable future.

So, kind of how it’s been most of this century?

Didn’t stop the other two coaches from winning championships. :geauxtigers:

There are better ways to describe Ed and this program than “not perfect”
Anything less than 11-1 will be an absolute failure.

Orgeron will never have a better setup to succeed and that is undeniable.
Aranda about to make 4 mill as DC in BR

One is overrated. One has no business being in the position he’s in.

Agreed.

The fact that anyone today thinks they are in a position to advance their particular narrative off this game is laughable.

Disagree.

In less than a year Fisher turned A&M into a team that could match the physicality and energy that A&M had never been able to do since joining the SEC.

Orgeron, in 2.5 years, is 0-6 against Nick Saban, Dan Mullen, and Jimbo Fisher.

Which programs are more likely to appreciate and which is likely to depreciate going forward?

every expert said 6-6

Such a stupid and false narrative.

We were #25 preseason. No one outside of O apologists believed we were a 5 or 6 win team.

Still, Ed Orgeron and the Tigers far exceeded most expectation.

Well done, Derek. Well done. Narrative accomplished :geauxtigers:

But with Oregon we get 9-3 for less money.

No, we actually don’t.

This has been way more expensive.

Fail. Last year LSU beat 2 Bowl teams. These season LSU beat 5

We also beat 5 in 2015.

Quick, need a new talking point!!! :geauxtigers:

This is starting to irritate me, there’s no reason to keep bashing Coach Orgeron for this loss

Well when you do nothing and have no responsibilities, yeah, no reason to be bashed.

Good work if you can get it :geauxtigers:

Well duh.

That’s the 2019 excuse.

2020 will be new QB.

2021 will be solar flares.

2022 Rosy Finch infertility.
