He absolutely made adjustments at halftime. They were WAY better in the second half of regulation.
When overtime came, it just wore them down. It's hard in overtime, when offenses are right there in scoring position, and a lot of the time the offenses are in 4 down mode. And with the way they alternate possessions, you have multiple occasions where you are playing defense on back to back possessions.
I stop critiquing the game as I normally would when it gets to overtime. It's just not real football at that point.

A&M has under 300 yards in regulation or barely over it. Until the last drive they only had 50 or so yards in the second half.
And, missing several key players. Get a grip.

And Ed Orgeron shite all over him publicly on the sidelines because he wasn’t doing enough. How long would you put up with that?

But that’s not what you said. You said he lacked attention to detail and failed to
Make adjustments. That is completely false.

I was referencing OT. There are many factors at play, but you can’t deny it was out of character for him and his defenses. Couple that with the response from Ed Orgeron, and you tell me how long you realistically think he will stick around. Or we can continue to argue about the fact I didn’t specifically state OT in the OP so you can feel like you’ve won something.

I'm not a 4th and Aranda fan. Can't leave fast enough. Hell, if the game from last night was still being played he'd still have a 3 man rush and drop 8. As I have said many times, if most quarterbacks can have a minute to find someone open, you can drop 11 and someone will still be open. Pitiful!!

O should rip E a new one for not being able to ice a 7 point lead with 2 mins left by getting a fricking first down.
Aranda is fine. But for some reason aTm has been the team his d seems to perform the worst against.

I noticed a few times O was yelling like a bitch and Aranda walked away from the huddle shaking his head and the look of disgust on his face.

We gave up 24pts in regulation with 7 of those coming on a 25yd drive after the muffed punt. We held a pretty good offense to basically under 300yds in regulation. I will take that. If the guy leaves for an NFL job then you can’t blame him.

We pay him a lot of money. It would be a hard poach unless he becomes a head coach.

I can understand some intensity in that situation from HC if it’s coupled with providing some meaningful direction but I get the impression that was just placing blame without any real substance. I’d be shaking my head too if that’s what Aranda was receiving.

These responses are so fricking lame
It screams I’m an insecure pussy and it’s hard for me to form an opinion of my own, let alone defend my point of view, so I’ll just make fun of the guy that has one.
I hope that I am wrong, but without question your contributions to this heralded board will influence his choice.

Although your opinion isn’t popular, I agree 100%.
I think he jets right before or immediately after the bowl game but for another lateral DC position elsewhere. He’s given solid time to our program, only to continually get shite on. And yes, his defense was the equivalent to 3rd and Chavis last night.

It was eerily similar in feel at the end and OT to Chavis. I felt that way before I saw Orgeron’s reaction to Aranda on the sideline. Obviously we don’t know the context and maybe it wasn’t what we think, but Aranda’s reaction was one of disgust and disappointment after Orgeron said what he did.

I want the gif of O jumping up and down, screaming like a lunatic after the last A&M touchdown.
Stress, adversity definitely reveals character.

I was under the impression the DC had these responsibilities?
