Wrong in every way.

For the most part, solid as we've seen all year. No where near atrocious. That's just drama queen shite

If the scheme worked, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. The offense, thanks to Ensminger and the play calling, would have put them away when they had the opportunity. I think you need to go and watch the game again.

We're having this conversation because of 4th and 18. No one should ever convert

You just cannot get beyond your own bias
31 first downs,
5 different rushers
2 passers
11 different receivers
Split TOP

It was the most varied offense in a long time.

I thought the same thing as O was yelling at him. I thought he gone.

I hope not.

If LSU's defense falters, even a bit, there's a good chance they lose to Auburn, Moo State and Georgia.

I realize that's 100% hypothetical, which I try to avoid, but I genuinely think Dave Aranda is worth 3-5 wins a season. He's that good. LSU will fall apart without a DC of his caliber...

... unless Orgeron hires an OC who can get the LSU working properly.

Imagine the the meltdown on The Rant if Aranda leaves LSU and joins Les in Kansas?

Not to jump in... but it was one game.

Ensminger has had all years to open up that 'secret playbook' -- you mean to tell me he and Orgeron waited to face Jimbo and not Nick Saban?

That would be pretty telling, giving Orgeron and Jimbo's history, wouldn't it?

One of the most retarded things I have ever read on this board. That says a lot. The hate will destroy you young one.

Here’s an important stat for you:

74-72

Nothing you posted matters when you include the fact we played for five hours. Ensminger did not call the correct plays at the correct times to put this game away. Period. Arguing anything else is wrong.

+1

I thought the 31 points allowed in regulation (7 being due to the fumbled punt) was actually not a bad job, considering the defense was missing Fehoko and Fulton.

Solid? You're describing the playcalling this season as solid?

Then I suppose you support Ensminger being retained?

A$M started the drive on their own 22 and needed a TD to win. I totally understand the conservative calls on the last offensive possession. They had 90 second half yards at that point.

Most of the game, there was nothing wrong offensively. One of the better efforts top to bottom.

I can point out a half dozen bad offensive game plans this year, this wasn't one

I don't believe Aranda would be that foolhardy to go coach a bunch of three star players to protect a Miles coached offense in that high powered offense conference.

So you support not even trying to get the first down there when it could put the game away?

Why leave it to chance? You get the first down there they don't get the ball back at all.

Not trying to get a first down? Did we kneel it out?

A$M had 90 second half yards to that point. Playing conservative was the right choice for all you soccer fans.

We lost because we inexplicably could not stop them. Not because of the offense

You remember how Les got blasted for throwing the ball vs Clemson? Had Ensminger thrown it, you would bitch about that

That’s a great game plan. Let’s not run plays that put our players in position to gain a first down or more in order to seal the game. Instead, we’ll play “conservatively” and give the other team an opportunity. We will not limit risk and retain control.

It was clear that getting a first down was not the priority there.

And that fact seems pretty irrelevant today, doesn't it?

You get the first down, they have 0% chance to win the game. You give them the ball back, their chances are greater than 0%.
