My concern is that the players are pissed at the coaches putting them in terrible positions to make plays with their schemes. Could be why we are seeing so little effort in tackling in the open field. Pissed at coaches for making them look so bad....regardless of whether it is true or not.
That can only lead to less effort, which may be hard to achieve.

The defense has def tapped out in both our losses. BK is in way over his head and he’s not who we thought he was.

This makes no sense whatsoever. The coaches are not missing tackles, the coaches are not leaping to the ground, the coaches are not playing slow, the coaches could do a better job but these players need to buckle up their chin strap and play some football. That’s what’s wrong with this defense. The offense is kicking arse. If we had some tough players that tackled like they give a damn and played with some speed to the ball, we’d have a decent defense.

The coaches need to sit a couple of these players and they also need to start giving the ball to Diggs and Jackson. The offensive players need to start going over to the defense and telling them to stop acting like a bunch of pussies. Stay on your man, stay in your zone, stay in your gap, and make some damn plays.

House can help by shortening up that soft arse coverage. Play 5 yards off instead of 10. Practice coming up and tackling the ball as soon as it’s caught, stop watching your WR catch the ball and be there when he does. Play lower and wrap the frick up when you tackle then drive your legs until he goes down, the whistle blows or your teammate comes to help you out. Pay attention to the damn ball. That’s it. Do that and we win the rest of our games. We should destroy mizzou this week.

I don’t think that but I think there needs to be some changes to the staff in the offseason.

I’ll leave it at that.

Having to kick players off mid season isn't a good look to locker room culture

Ir maybe he is getting rid of a malcontent and trouble maker who is affecting the locker room.

Tough start to the season followed by not being at home a lot early on.

We got housed by 27 at home early in the season last year and won the West. We also had as leader/star that wasn’t leading, while younger players showed up and showed out. Younger guys will fill any void of older guys not playing to potential. The older guys are still trying to play for a spot in the NFL. They aren’t just giving up that dream of NFL because they lost by 2 on the road in the SEC Not sure how this season is that much different different than the start to last season.

First of all, get used to it. And it's not just LSU and it's not just Kelly.

There's a reason that these guys are in the portal and it's not always just because they were unhappy with playing time. It's the risk you take.

But to draw up a narrative that this is any indication that things are out of control, that's just silly. A more realistic thing to be concerned with is that LSU could be left in the dust in the NIL war because all of our big money people are tapped out between Coach O, Kelly's contract, Kim Mulkey, the current NIL players, etc. I think it comes down to who we have on our roster plain and simple. And it's because LSU is getting outbid by Texas A&M/Texas/Georgia/Bama/FSU on some of these outstanding athletes at various positions. It just so happens that we are in a bind on defense right now, in regards to the starters we currently have on our roster.

We flat out need to buy a defense. Somebody out there with money needs to step up and help with NIL deals to get higher profile recruits and transfer players.

When have you ever actually witnessed a coach lose a team (besides Urban Meyer with the Jags)?

Ed lost his team. Now a lot was his own fault but outside agitators (Talking to you Ryan Clark) didn't help the situation.
