I’m making my call early. Daniel’s will stay healthy and will be the GOAT and I hope this happens.
Ok man, keep us posted on that. Glad you got in there early and beat the rush. We will be anxiously awaiting your updates.

That’s because he wasn’t really good until a few games into last season. It was still debatable in 2022 and the first couple of games 2023 whether he or Nuss should be the starter. It was a perfectly legitimate question. There’s nothing wrong with that.
It’s really hard to figure out why some of you can’t understand that’s it’s ok to have doubted Jayden in 2022 and then fell in love with him when he really elevated his game and went into Heisman mode in 2023.
Some are probably still defensive over Jayden because many on this board kept repeating "He's been a starter for years. He is what he is." They completely ignored the dumpster fire that was Arizona State while he was there and also ignored the possibility of Jayden improving after spending a year in our program.

The Bengals held the Chiefs to 19 points the week ago and the Patriots to 16 the week before that. Daniels executed flawlessly. They played Daniels at the wrong time.

you can’t have an opinion on someone who had a outstanding career at LSU

There is only one GOAT YA Tittle until someone does better. For a time he held the NFL passing yards. You’re talking about a guy that was every bit as good as Unitas which is why he is in Canton. When Burrow or Daniels get to there, then we can talk about GOAT. Until then, just stop the projecting.
If you want to run a comparison, look at Brees in 2011 and project Tittle’s 1962 season with attempts, TDs per completion, yards, etc. you would be pretty impressed. At the pace he was at in 13 games he would have ended with 3800+ yds and 45 TDs. If you project, it is close to 5000 yds and 50 TDs. Plus this guy was playing hurt… the giants really unleashed him (at least for those days and he didn’t have the comparable weapons Brees did in my opinion.
In 1962, Tittle played even better, setting an NFL single-season record with 33 touchdown passes and a career-high 3,224 yards. A year later, he broke his own record by throwing 36 touchdown passes,

Daniels still struggles to move through his progressions. It is the primary reason that he runs so much. It is also why his completion percentage stays so high.

I down voted because I think it is and was obvious that JD is going to be a star player in the NFL.

He has the opportunity, but he has to stay healthy.
Ten years ago, RG III was being touted as potentially "The Greatest". Two years later he was finished.

It’s unfortunate last year’s defense was awful.
He might turn out to be the goat in the NFL, but Joe Burrow is the goat at LSU because he won championships!

He will never be the LSU goat, that’ll always belong to Burrow. But man it does seem like the sky might be the limit for Jayden in the NFL. He is doing this with Terry McLaurin…and who else?
He’s made the oline look better than they are and has helped out Robinson a ton in the run game like RG3 did with Alfred Morris. Get him a weapon at tight end and another WR and it’s game over. Oh and an actual defense.
Seriously though how do you stop Jayden outside of a dirty hit? I’m not sure you can.

I remember casually watching college football late one night and he was going crazy at ASU and when the announcers
said he was a true freshman I immediately went to rivals because that was the trusted recruiting site at the time to see what he was rated coming out and said oh yeah that makes sense but I was puzzled on why he was at ASU.
