I just don't understand some of the stuff Wade was saying before the season. Naz is a for sure lottery pick. How Waters improved so much. How they had to turn out the lights while Edwards shot 3s because he made too many in a row with the lights on, Was he really that full of shite? What's going on with this team is just crazy.

He had a 15 point lead and Houston’s bigs in foul trouble and decided to go with a small lineup. We were getting beaten on the glass while KBW is on the bench. We go 10 minutes without a field goal. Then Naz picked up the dumbest 4th foul in the history of basketball and that is that.
We have no post offense other than put backs and we have 3 big men who will pass through the NBA.
That was awful coaching.

I didn’t tune into the game either.
For frick’s sake we’ll bring 13k to a gymnastics meet and it’s LOUD. LSU can get the pmac rocking but please just give us one decent win to get excited about

I can accept that rational on offense but not on defense. You can walk onto the floor with 4 guys you never met and if they all know how to play defense it would be better than what we are seeing from the Tigers.

It’s one thing to have a bad night here or there. Or have an opponent just have a great night. But when the same problems show up game, after game, don’t you have to look at the bench?
These issues were there last year as well. The ONLY difference is that expectations were nil and Wade was enjoying his honeymoon.
Remember, everyone was proclaiming Jones to be a great coach after going .500 in SEC play in his first season and reeling in a big time recruiting class in year two. He then proceeded to underachieve for all the same reasons Wade’s teams are losing now.
Right now we can bury our heads in baseless optimism or recognize that on his current trajectory Wade is trending much closer to Jones territory than the opposite direction. This is NOT a NCAAT team right now and unless things change QUICKLY they won’t be one at the end of the season either

I don’t know. A lot of my OP is probably hyperbole because I’m pissed we’ve lost to anyone good we’ve played and I’m booked to leave for Vegas in the morning and I feel like St Mary is going in dry on us just like Ok State did.
But for how long am I supposed to sit around and be sold “next year”? Brady followed up a final 4 with a dud. Trent’s whole tenure after the SEC title. Make the tournament with Johnny and then he brings in Tone and Benny and we bomb. Now with Wade it’s elite talent but nothing to show for it
