Ensminger calls better plays and Aranda has a better defense.

were not a basketball school. its 3rd on the list. cant make it to the final 4 with shaq, chris Jackson, Stanley Roberts and singleton- a natty was never gonna happen. Im very fair weathered with lsu bb. theres too much disappointment in fb and baseball to get invested in another letdown.

In the era of one and done, isn't that true of virtually every championship caliber team?

Did I say that? Wade didn’t put them in position to make good plays.

Before the middle of December is a tad early to be calling out a coach with this many new parts to his team. imo

I felt like Smoke was coaching last night. Houston made a run and we didn’t call a timeout. We let it slip away faster than ever.

we're a third of the way through the season. A few early growing pains are ok, but we're about past the point for that excuse.

Wade is going to have to learn how to coach a bunch of young high school all-Americans.

It’s not easy. Coach Cal will tell you as much.

“ past the point”

I disagree. It’s almost a month before we play first SEC game.

Do we need to start playing better, of course. I recall any number of LSU basketball teams that stumbled out of the gate and finished good enough to get into the tournament.

Calling out the coach and the team on December 13 is jumping the gun. There is plenty of time to do that in January and February if It’s needed, but each to our own.

I’m right there with you.
I don’t see it. It’s hard to watch this team.

I totally agree his set plays to get an easy basket are non existent

They had set plays? Houston's offense was obvious and fast. LSU's resembled more of a hopeful chaos in the second half.

You don't pay much attention to college basketball.
Now that the one and done's are spread out more, you aren't seeing the Kentucky dominance like you did the first several years that Cal was there. Duke was very exposed against a good, very experienced Gonzaga team.

It takes quite a while for the players to mesh together. Duke got the 3 best players in the nation and some games they are dominate and others they look mortal. Houston is a good team with experience, hopefully we learned from the game and will help us improve down the road.
