I don’t understand why the results aren’t showing up ? Wade supposedly prepares very well and recruits well. I feel let down by what I am seeing this season. I was pumped at the beginning but know I am confused.

Damn ! Every year it is the same fricking shite with this men’s basketball program.

I don’t know. A lot of my OP is probably hyperbole because I’m pissed we’ve lost to anyone good we’ve played and I’m booked to leave for Vegas in the morning and I feel like St Mary is going in dry on us just like Ok State did.

But for how long am I supposed to sit around and be sold “next year”? Brady followed up a final 4 with a dud. Trent’s whole tenure after the SEC title. Make the tournament with Johnny and then he brings in Tone and Benny and we bomb. Now with Wade it’s elite talent but nothing to show for it

Wade seems to have a blind spot for Waters like Johnny Jones had one for Blakeney.

Emmett Williams off the bench is the one change he made, and that clearly wasn't the problem. Smart and Mays need to start, let Tremont come off the bench for 5 minutes a half until he works things out.

Wow-

What a board in December...while extremely frustrating to watch tonight, the Tremont criticism is vastly overblown. This team boils down to 2 things and if anyone has watched more than LSU basketball and yes, that includes Duke and the blue bloods, teams typically can't shoot and turnovers are rampant.

That being said, this team has to be able to rebound the basketball and my only criticism of Wade is the short leash we have on our BIGS that get 1-2 fouls early.

We gave up 18 Offensive rebounds and that with 16 turnovers will get you BEAT EVERY single time...tremont had some sloppy turnovers I agree, but rebounding is a mind set and effort thing...

Good news is that we played 2 TOURNAMENT teams off their arse and I think FSU will make the Final Four once they get Cofer back from the foot injury so none of these losses are killers.

Ill look for some improvement on the glass from the bigs, if not, I will join the lynch mob on Saturday!!!

We had them in worse foul trouble and decided to sit our bigs to match their line up. Are you playing to win or not lose?

Playing not to lose is the LSU way. Happened with both of the last head coaches for LSU football team

Waters tonight:

3/13 FG
1/9 3FG
2 assists
5 TO

Maybe Lester was right and he’s just not a very good player

Mind boggling how much waters has regressed from year one to year two

The decision making especially.

Look, I'm NOT defending Waters but he is getting way too much heat this early in the season....he is playing with 6 new players and his stats are very similar to last year...FG% actually up al little while PPG down 3 and 3 Pt % down about 5%...Steals are up But SO are turnovers...

Ill tell you this, when DUKE goes o the road to Virginia and FSU in early January, they are gonna get roasted...its hard to go on the road with young players...we had 5 first year players playing significant minutes and the doesn't count Bigsby!

WAY to early to write this group off,,,hit the glass, and find an identity. Im holding out lots of hope for these guys! Since it is before freaking CHRISTMAS

Defense and rebounding bail you out of rough offensive stretches that inevitably happen to every team. However, if it’s not already, it’s becoming abundantly clear Wade and his staff can’t teach winning defense and the emphasis on rebounding is just empty talk.

Teams that defend and rebound play with a physical mindset. Just look at Houston if you want an example. Once the ball went up they attacked the rim with ferocity while LSU just stood and watched.

If LSU could defend and rebound that 12 point cushion should have been enough to drag them to victory despite a poor 2nd half offensively. Unfortunately, Wade’s teams have to shoot well all game to overcome their inability to defend. That’s asking a lot on the road and the reason they have now lost 9 straight road games

We are more talented than Houston. We have more size. We got killed on the glass and we didn’t try the post offensively. What’s going to happen when you’re playing teams with equal or more talent and Pearl, Calipari, and Howland are on the other bench? They’re going to have to win 12 league games to make the tournament

I don’t even know if that does it when you shoot 6/25 with 9 turnovers

When LSU got the 15 point lead, I turned the sound down and proceeded to watch the turnovers and no shooting that has been has predicable at LSU since Dale Brown days. I thought Wade would be different. Nope. Dude ain't got a clue.

ALt26-

I can't speak for Wade's defensive prowess or not after a couple years of coaching, you may be right...

Again, I just don't understand the mindset of people wanting these 18 year old AAU players to be polished players...watch more college basketball and you will find it isa BAD product from TOP to Bottom...OU and Wichita State were a combined 4-36 to start the game the other day...just awful and I am pretty sure both future Hall of Fame coaches were well versed in offensive basketball...

As Aaron Rodgers said, CHILL....if after January 15 we see the same things we saw tonight, we can call Wade and Crew a bust!

Bro... I probably wont care about this team much until the Saints season is finished. I think they’re just an unlikable bunch. I like Mays, Smart, and Bigby... but that’s about it

I was gonna go to the Furman game but probably just gonna head to Tx ahead of the xmas rush. Sigh.
