If you were preparing to play LSU. What would you do to try and stop it?

I feel the only chance to beating us is to blitz the whole game. When I say whole game I mean it. Every play. What would you do?

Pray.

Nothing short of divine intervention is going to stop that offense.

You'd have to bring 5-6 guys on a blitz and drop 7 into coverage.

Concede touchdowns and try to block every extra pt kick and match TD for TD. Make the kick, win the game.

put 12 on the field and hope they don't notice every now and then... Blitzes don't work! If anyone is the slightest bit uncovered, Joe will find them before you get to him

Pretty much what Arkansas did...try to kill Joe Burrow the first time I got to him...even if it’s after the play and surely going to get you 15 yards. Hopefully it doesn’t work.

Honestly, teams should just go for it on every 4th down and kick onsides every time you score.

Steal possessions and try to prevent us getting on a rhythm. Plus limit the amount of time your defense has to defend and keep us on short fields, which seems counterintuitive but you can’t cover this team in space. Keeping us in or near the red zone where there is less field to cover would actually help their defense imo.

And pray

Play deep zone to keep them from scoring TDs o long plays, then play the red zone D they’re actually pretty good at and hope to force more FGs than TDs.

I think playing with 13 guys on the field would be the best way to beat us, too

Hire Tonya Harding as your "Joe Burrow specialist".

Accept you're not stopping them. You have to slow them down and keep the ball away from Burrow. Here's my game strategy.

1. Run a different Defensive scheme with new looks and blitzes each quarter (the saints did this in the superbowl and it was very effective). The delayed blitz seems to be the most effective way to get to Burrow but you have to wait for the RB to release or get out of position to block.

2. Get physical with our receivers to slow them down. You have to have contact asap after the snap.

3. Run the ball and complete high percentage passes to work the clock.

4. Try to manufacture turnovers.

5. Get Lucky

Give up yardage between the 20s and focus on making red-zone stops. I think pressing our WRs is anyone's best chance of slowing us down. A team with bigger more physical corners could slow us down enough to win if their offense can score like ours. If they give them 5-7 yards cushion its an easy completion and we will dump it down all day.
