If you plan on dining at local LA restaurants

Our hotel only requires masks, but my wife and I went to a wine bar in Santa Monica that required proof of vax. LA Wallet was acceptable for their digital vaccine proof as it looks like California has their own version of this was well

It's only the metro areas. I visited Yosemite area and Sequoia National Park. I always thought the whole State was nuts but they're really not. Once you get out to the rural areas they're just like us and loathe the crazies in LA and San Fran too.

You would be surprised at how many conservatives live in Los Angeles. The conservatism here just lacks the religious component you find in the south.
