I live in LA County too and have yet to be asked to show proof of vaccination. However, it doesn't surprise me that Santa Monica is leading the way on this. The "People's Republic" is nutty even by California standards.

That’s exactly what people will do, and capitalism will remove those other places from business, considering the margins in the restaurant industry

You would be surprised at how many conservatives live in Los Angeles. The conservatism here just lacks the religious component you find in the south.

It's only the metro areas. I visited Yosemite area and Sequoia National Park. I always thought the whole State was nuts but they're really not. Once you get out to the rural areas they're just like us and loathe the crazies in LA and San Fran too.

This is correct, I met a lot of freedom loving Americans in the country part of California

I don’t want to make a cake with GLBTQRST
It’s My business...the conundrum will blow a liberals mind, yet they will still find some rational explanation to explain why it’s a different situation

I’m surprised someone hasn’t used the phrase “virtue signaling” yet on this thread

Imagine that, masks required in densely populated areas where social distancing isn’t as feasible as in rural areas during a nationwide spike in COVID cases. The only “crazies” are the people that don’t understand the difference.

Comparing businesses not being allowed to discriminate against potential customers based on personal prejudice to a government body setting guidelines to preserve public health safety is the most cringe/hilarious thing I’ve hear on TD….well at least today

So businesses can not hire someone because they are black?

Ah yes. The incredibly communist notion of letting businesses make their own decisions

They're crazy for reasons that go far beyond just masks.

And a restaurant in a rural area can be just as crowded as a restaurant in a densely populated area.

Your papers please. Soon enough everyone will be chipped. I would not have entered that establishment. My desire to consume alcohol will never be that strong.

Sorry, Jackass but they have no such rights. Can they refuse to serve blacks, the LGBT community? Can they make people wear stilts? Such an idiotic thing to say.

no passports, would hate to take your freedom away.

Feel free to drive drunk, not wear a seatbelt, and cross the street at red lights too when you get here.

Us Commies will try not to run you over.

Oh yeah, and we contribute enough Federal income tax to keep your state afloat, literally, while you chip in a fraction of what you get back from the Feds
