Baylor and Penn St both hired multiple good coaches right after all their shite went down and they committed worse violations than LSU

Baylor had a year with Jim Grove and then a 1 win season in 2017. Penn State took a solid 5 years to get good again. LSU could be ok long term, but players will transfer and it will be a difficult few years ahead.

Because the NCAA does not penalize schools for campus-wide problems. The big 12 did enforce penalties on them. The SEC could do that to LSU, and let's not forget we also have NCAA sanctions coming for other stuff.

I mean, BOB is a shite coach but no disagreements from me. You could get a good coach. But there could still be a large rebuild process.

Firing O for this Title IX thing is a double edged sword. Sure you get out of the huge buyout but you’re also putting a black eye on the school and limiting your pool of potential hires. Some prospective coaches won’t want to come to a university that got in trouble for covering up rape. Also, our case is nowhere near as severe but Penn Stare and Baylor had to go through some pretty substantial rebuilds after their rape fiascos.

Woodward hired Sarkisian at Washington, Chris Peterson at Washington and Jimbo at A&M, so pretty good track record hiring FB coaches

I'd look at Sark or give Aranda a chance.
The Coastal Carolina guy is intriguing, but I want to see more than one year of success at a mid major, especially when that one year is this year.

The story is out there. It's not going to go away. Might as well do something about it and move forward. I think it could be really tough for O to find coaches in the next few weeks though with this looming.
