If there was ever a time to get your hopes up on Fulton

Now would be the time. We are about to start on the offensive against the NCAA to get him reinstated, and we have some outside help (media) that is going to run his story about how inconsistent and messed up the NCAA's testing policies and procedures are. So... Fingers crossed. Should have an answer by the end of the summer. You see something on Twitter or any other social media about it later, share it to all your friends and family. The more pressure on the NCAA, the better.

Would be huge to get him eligible.

The rule is bullshite, but it was very clear as written. If you tamper with a drug test, you get 2 years.
I could see them agreeing to re-visit the rule, but I doubt he gets anything regarding his punishment changed.

NCAA needs to make an example and whatever Fulton did, apparently did not go over well with NCAA.
I doubt they change their mind on this one. It does seem like an overly harsh suspension though and if NCAA is adamant on cleaning up the college game, it's a shame Fulton is being made out as the bad guy here. I guarantee you it goes on everywhere.
I guess it's similar as to what Grier did at Florida.

It's not that simple. Some of their reasons for charging him with tampering are more speculation than fact to be honest.

Well, that's good. Interested to hear the details. I assume everything will be made public?

As much as they legally can. Idea is to put his story out and out the pressure on the NCAA

If that's the only chance of success, it ain't happening.

I thought he turned in a sample that tested positive for birth control?

Thanks for this update. I'm rooting for him big time.

If true, he's truly a fricking moron. Why would anyone think they wouldn't notice if you used urine from a different gender?
Holy shite

The NCAA and conferences need to become more consistent with rules and regulations.

I thought it was a low dose beaver tranquilizer.

Agreed, they'll dig in to save face and not create a 'reference A' for any future related cases.
Hope Fulton sees the process through. We can use him this season; we will need him next season.

It is a draconian punishment considering that he’s already sat out a year and it hampers his career aspirations and could arguably cost him his ability to make a living. But whatever Lord Saban wants Lord Saban gets.

Can't wait for the moralizing "is this what we want from our society" lecture from the tiny dictator if Fulton is reinstated.
Followed by Saban instructing all of his players to take advantage of the new loophole.

We need him this season, but could definitely use him next season. IMO

No - we will NEED him NEXT season after Greedy heads to the NFL and leaves us w/ a bunch of unproven youngsters.

They’ll be unproven next year? I say they are unproven this year. Fulton will still be unproven next year anyway, just not a youngster
We’ll find out what we have in Kirklin / Vincent / Alexander / Joesph / Netherly during this season. I’d love to add Fulton to this list as none are proven right now and Fulton was the most heavily recruited of the bunch.
We’ll also have a lot more depth next year even with greedy leaving (19 class), not much depth right now
I’d rather Fulton play this year even if he plays himself into the draft than have him out this year and play next year.
I know we need corners right now, we may or may not need help at this point next year.
