FWIW, I take back my comments on you being a ‘phony insider’... apparently I was wrong and you do actually have a source, so my apologies to you sir

Fantastic strategy by the staff

No - we will NEED him NEXT season after Greedy heads to the NFL and leaves us w/ a bunch of unproven youngsters.

So you are for redshirting a starter? Has any coach ever done this

If he’s the one replacing greedy next year he’d be starting this year. If he wouldn’t be starting this year then whoever else is better than him this year (or Stingley) would be replacing greedy next year and we don’t really need him either year. Would always help to have him though

You really don’t think we need one of our starting 22 when there is a chance he can play? Especially at one on the thinnest and unproven positions on the entire roster

We havent needed a talented corner more than we do right now in a very long time. He’s actually on campus

Assuming Stingley is at LSU he will be an immediate starter. That leaves Vincent, Kirklin, Netherly and the signed in the 2019 class as well as Fulton all competing for the 2nd starting spot.
Fulton is a much bigger need this year than next.

Absolutely.

We have no weaknesses in the starting 11 outside (potentially) the corner spot opposite greedy. A complete defense is a priority. A liability at corner influences the entire defensive gameplan

We have all year to address any weaknesses for next season. Fulton is the only fix for this years defense if one of the handful of other #2 corner options are not ready for prime time. And If he’s not the talent we think he is (starter) then he’s not “the next greedy” next season anyway.

I sure hope he gets reinstated, with the lack of depth and with 2 players playing out of position to fill the need he would be a welcome addition. Plus Vincent should not be forced to play outside hes more suited for the nickle.

I don’t think Vincent has the size. I think he will be behind Kirklin and the Stanford transfer.

When can we expect to see this story run? What type of outlet? Newspaper, online article, tv segment?

A former player told me if Fulton didn’t get suspended, no one would know who greedy Williams was. He said Fulton would have been far and away the #1 CB on the team last year

I tell you one thing... my hopes are indeed up. We need him. He's too good to be suspended for 2 freaking years.

Especially on shaky grounds that the tampering was based on. Masking agents are basically at a .999999 : 1.0 ratio to users in CFB, and they went this route.

If there's any "campaigns" we can contribute to (even though I'm not a big believer in them) please post them here VolTiger13:
- social media "pressure"
- bitch letters, aka petitions
- best contacts in media to stir up a hornets nest

TAF better be doing something on the side. We used to protect our own.

If there is no PR push-back, Emmert (or Jon Duncan) won't change a damn thing. There's no guarantee that public outcry won't make the NCAA dig in their heels, but the only way to guarantee failure is to not try.

Why is Savion eligible this year And Fulton ineligible? Did Savion transferring make his Two year ban go away?

Bama had guys with guns and drugs on them and didn't miss a game. Include that in your story.

He is not suspended for marijuana. He is suspended for giving a tainted sample. If he had given his own sample he plays this year even if it didn’t pass. Poor judgement.

What was he being tested for?

So was he hiding something worse than weed?

Fair enough if true. Definitely a poor decision.
