Since the 2000 season, the home team won this matchup except on two occasions:

2012 - Tigers win @ Auburn, 12-10
2008 - Tigers win @ Auburn, 26-21

It's a day game and it's gonna be a slugfest. Don't care if we win by 1 point I'll take it!

If we are famous for any action, it's over reaction.
If we would have lost it would be horrible around here.

I hear ya, but what will change in two weeks that didn't happen all summer?

Um, hate to break this to you, but Burrow was named starter one week before the start of the season. That's only one week getting most of the first team reps, before that, the reps were split between first 4, then 2 QBs.

A lot can change with two more weeks of reps.

Have faith, oh doubting Thomas.

I believe LSU will do well this season. I'm just saying play the hand you're dealt.

Gotcha, but I both hope and think that some improvement is possible, especially with a tune up game the week before Auburn.

If we blow out auburn at auburn we should be ranked #1. Highly unlikely imo. I will be very happy if we can fight and claw our way to a win period at auburn.

Slow your roll man. We have never blew up Auburn in Jordan Hare. Bring it back. If we can stop the run and limit their passing game we may have a chance.

Auburn's defensive is scary good. If we win at their place, then we win the national championship. That's gonna be almost impossible to do though.

The drops in the Miami game were overblown. The only real drop was by Dillon, although that would have been a huge play.

The WRs looked really good to me overall. Very active

There were 3 clear as day drops

Dillon was obvious
Marshal is counted by many, but it was a shitty low pass that Marshall had no time to react to, and he was leaning upfield. That is clearly on the QB.
What is the third?
And there is no argument about the ones the defender defensed.

your roll... slow it

don't get me wrong, I despise AU with all my heart, more than any other SEC team and I wish this to be the case. But it would take a 3-quarter long collapse of monumental proportions in addition to us elevating in the manner you are suggesting for that to happen.

I think we'll probably have a tough time running against Auburn, so I find it hard to imagine us blowing them out. But after seeing our team in week 1, I think we have a fair chance over there even though it will be a big challenge. The first true road game for a QB is tough, but if he stays composed, he has the tools to lead LSU to success against good teams.

Their Dline is legit but the secondary is meh.If the Oline can get a lil better there is a chance for some big pass plays

In the 3rd quarter, Marshal dropped a second pass that hit him in the hands.

As for the Arguable drops, on the first drive a pass hit Jefferson in the chest and I’d argue that Sullivan’s pass was dropped too.

On jefferson’s Drop, the defender was on his back but never touched the ball.

Sullivan’s was defender decently but he was still able to get the ball past the defender and had a chance to catch it.

Number 4 from Miami was making circus catches regardless of the defense.

I’m not saying our guys need to make circus catches, but they need to catch the ball when it hits them in the hands or chest regardless of where a defender is.

Also faulting burrow for the first of Marshal’s drops is laughable. The kid stood in the pocket knowing he was being blitzed and was gonna take a shot and delivered a VERY catchable ball. As a WR, you have to catch that ball. He had 2 full hands on it.

Screens and drag routes will be necessary to beat Auburn, but the latter requires good OL play. If Giles is gonna make plays, that'll be the route to do it for him.
