The Astros haven't been relevant in years. Their best player left and plays for the Cubs now. He led the MLB in HRs and RBIs post Allstars break this season

With that said, if you look at any discussions about the hypothetical divisions after expansion, a lot of them have an AL South of Stros, Rangers, Rockies, and Royals
Those are 2 of the worst franchises so I’d like our odds playing in that

The Astros and White Sox have been locked in a metaphysical battle with each other for the past 25 years where the Sox destroyed the Astros soul in 2005, then the Astros destroyed the Sox soul in 2021. Seems very likely if the Sox win this series the Astros are returning to the basement for a long time.

Most teams would love to be where the Astros have been the last 10 years. Of course the Astros can’t be elite every year they are due a regression. Their worst season in recent history and still made the playoffs with the AL MVP……

Actually they would not give a frick about a “scandal” just like Astro fans don’t. But there was no cheating in 2022 or 21 for that matter when they made but lost the WS.

The Astros have exactly 2 World Series championships since the Royals franchise started in 1969. The Royals also have 2 WS titles. Neither of our rings have an asterisk next to it.
