Bailey was paid $450k to come here. He's AT BEST fourth in line on the payroll. I bet we had $3 million+ in NIL payroll for this clown's squad this year.

So what happens to that $3 million when you have to pay $8 million to fire the current staff then several more million to hire the new staff? Do you know that we have enough boosters that are ready to spend $15 million on basketball right now?

That is a complete bullshite narrative and your dumbass bought it completely. After the NOA was issued (which is when we fired WW)) everything was out of the NCAA’s hands and in the hands of the IARP. There was no “saving football” by firing the basketball coach. That is fundamental misunderstanding of how the IARP process worked. Had our case been handled by the NCAA committee on infractions, then maybe firing Wade would help, but it wasn’t. And Scott and everyone involved knew this. It was an excuse for Scott to fire a coach he did not like because he was arrogant enough to think he could do better.

Yep. And observers thought it being handed off to the IARP boded well for Wade/LSU. I remember Hanny breaking it down on the radio.

McMahon was always a placeholder. Scott already has a short list and a bucket of NIL to jumpstart this thing with a new arena. Be patient.
