If the SEC goes to a 10 Game Conference only schedule, it would entail adding a home game and an away game to each team's schedule. Wouldn't it make sense to refer to the upcoming SEC schedules to determine site and opponent?

If so, LSU would go to Kentucky and host Tennessee (based on future schedules for 2021 & 2022).

Bama would go to Florida and host Vandy.

Just a thought. Discuss.

I would be sad to lose the Texas game, but would be ecstatic replacing the Rice game at NRG for a home game against Tennessee. Also Bama having to play against UGA, @UF and @LSU would be glorious.

Not gonna happen. But IF it did, I have confidence that Mullen & Trask could knock off the tide. That’s with fans of course.

That would be big for Florida. If they could compete with Bama, this could be the year for it.

Crazy that LSU would drop the OOC games against teams that are either in state or from Texas (neighboring state) to then add teams from Kentucky and Tennessee. That makes no sense.

They can make the Texas game happen still if they really wanted to. It can be the exception.

Or they could take the last two years and use those teams. LSU would have to go to UGA and have Vandy at home. This way they wouldn’t screw with future schedules. Poor Georgia would have to play LSU, A&M, Bama and Auburn plus Florida. Yikes

I think they keep the current 8 game setup to give themselves flexibility but if they do expand you can forget about the idea of Bama getting Florida

We would play the SECW, and Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee

Alabama would play the SECW, and Tennessee, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and the perceived weakest team remaining in that division, Mizzou.

Non conf games that rely on Power 5 money will decimate those schools
Scary if this is how it plays out
SEC will be fine

Voters might get to decide #1 this year - no playoffs

I want Tennessee and Mizzou or Tennessee and Kentucky if we can’t get Mizzou.

Logic is off of the table these days. Big 10 is keeping games across several states while canceling non-conference games like Wisconsin - Notre Dame in Green Bay, which is an easy bus trip for those schools.

They somehow force LSU to play a home&home vs. Florida and Alabama will get to play Kentucky twice. Once in Tuscaloosa and once in Birmingham.
