It's amazing how the mind filters out certain things. Rantz could say it a dozen times and I wouldn't give them a combined millisecond of a hearing.

To many people on this board love to dis former tigers.Ronnie and Lynn are very entertaining and good people .If you don’t like them turn off the sound.

But, I don't know how his broadcasting skills are. I like Lynn Rollins. Used to call Louisiana College basketball games back in the 70's.

Rants might not be "great", but they have a lot of airtime to fill over the course of a single game, let alone when you have to do a dozen over the course of the season. Bitching incessantly about announcers is worse than the announcers that are the subject of the complaints. You tolerate the bad ones and you enjoy the good ones, even with their flaws. Or you turn off the sound and listen to nothing. Because it's that or no baseball.
