IIRC you were of the opinion that he may not be around next season under the old staff, right?

My only disagreement is that I'd rather Gio at 9 than at the top of the order.

He's a perfect 9 hole guy that can flip the lineup. speedy lefty who can poke the ball the other way and get on base for Morgan, Crews, etc.

Now, in order to be able to put him there, you can't have guys hitting below the mendoza line at 7 and 8.

I definitely think he would have been on the fence

I’ve watched him since he was in coach pitch. Kid is special. Will that transfer to the SEC? Idk, but I guarantee he’ll have more than 7 RBIs if he starts the entire season.

ETA: Pearson has played in 11 games so far in the Florida Collegiate league. He’s scored in 10 of them.

Transferred to LSUE and didn’t last a full season there. Off the map completely from a baseball standpoint now.

I don't think he's going to make it to campus but that's a good problem to have if he does.

You don’t know me and I promise you you wouldn’t say that to my face. If he is your cousin or something then I’m sorry. He is not top level talent by any means. I will reserve getting in name calling on a message board with you.

Sure I would.

Never even met him.

You said he was in terms of speed. He’s already just under 0.300 for his career. It will go up if he comes back. There are higher rated players with lower career averages than that.

Well you’re a dumbass if you think hitting 0.275 as a freshman, 0.351 (to lead the team) as a sophomore, and 0.293 as a redshirt Sophomore is only “junior college level.”

Did you know he had the second highest average in conference? He hit 0.308 in conference which was only behind Morgan. But yeah… he shouldn’t be in D1.

Piece. Of. shite.

Dude, you sure have a liking for little ole Gio. Are you sure you are not a stalker; a butt bandit? You let me know when Gio bats .250 in any minor league game douche!

You think he can’t go 1 for 4 in a minor league game? Seriously?

Not consistently. And he doesn’t get to raise that average in the minors by playing sisters of the poor at the beginning of the season.

The new Coach will move Dugas to 2B. Drost will turn into the next Greg Deichmann. The new Coach will convince Hampton to return. Clearly the extra hair is causing Gio's hamstring injuries. Gio gets a haircut and he will be good to go.

On a serious note, what happened to Sanford? It must be a serious back injury for them to say he will be shelved a while.

I guess you didn’t read the part where he mentioned Gio’s batting average in conference.

This is why you’re an idiot. Gio hit better in SEC play than he did OOC this year. And by better I mean second on the team at 0.308.
