If Mettenberger is all world this year, why didn't he play last year?

I just don't think he's as good as everyone is saying, just think he's something other than the mess we use to have. Just hoping we finally get some STABILITY from that position.

He's been great everywhere he's been so far.

a first year sophomore is not going to play over a Senior and a RSsenior, each with close to three years of starting experience.

There could be several explanations for Mett's limited playing time last year that have nothing to do with his actually ability or potential. For example, a certain coach appeared to be suffering from an inexplicable JJ fetish last season.
