My big worry is beating bama then shitting the bed against A&M or the seccg.are they gonna take a one loss sec champ of course. That leaves a possible big12 champ OU and or a possible one loss PAC 12 champ in Oregon which leaves Clemson and Ohio St as your 4 teams with both one loss bama and one loss LSU out. Very strange but possible.

I mean if we get blown out like last year with their starting QB on the bench, I would be pretty disapointed but if it is a close game and they happen to win lets be real I would still be disapointed but I would get over it and root for a rematch scenerio in the playoffs.

We have to keep it close with Bama. Penn St and Ohio State still have to play, so if we keep our game close.. We make the argument for top 4 and one of them gets bounced.

Absolutely. If LSU loses to Bama (again) then this LSU team is an also ran. At least that's the way I see it.

Bottom line.......Alabama stands at the summit of the mountain in the SEC. Everyone below is scrambling to reach the summit to challenge Bama......to knock them off the SEC mountain top. IMO LSU is the only team in the SEC capable of beating Bama.

LSU's failure to whip Bama means another season with a loss to Bama. Furthermore the loss will be even more stinging in that LSU finally had all (well most) of the pieces in place, especially in the QB position. If LSU is going to beat Bama........it better darned well happen this season.

Next year....hummm?

If Bama beats LSU and LSU doesn't get into the playoffs, I think this season would feel like a disappointment

Absolutely. Final 4 is all that matters any more. And if we continue losing to Alabama then nothing has changed other than the entertainment value of the team.
