It would be a total surprise...moo state is hacking at the plate and has pitching and defense...if we win 1 game it will be a positive...most likely go 0-3...unless our bats go superman good

or they just normalize. Even though we have a lot of hurt arms, pitching has been picking up lately. Hess had his best outing in two years last weekend.

It would be great. I'm not concerned about wins and losses. What concerns me is the lack of quality and consistent hitting up and down the lineup (I'm sorry, but LSU should have great firepower every year), and the lack of vocal leadership. Where is it? Who is the beast in dugout that can "rally the troops?"

But what is "normalize" for lsu... we haven't seen this much less the consistency of being what the expectation was....it's been a minute....

I mean Antoine Duplantis is a prime example of whats going on with the team. This is his fourth year at LSU, you know and everybody else knows he is a much better hitter than what he is displaying. I am not saying this will be the greatest hitting team ever but it will get better.
