the man deserves some sort of special recognition for sure. He's been a great representative for LSU. Period.
We can put a memorial game clock in front of TS

I'd be pissed...though that reaction would have nothing to do with my feelings toward Les Miles...who I like a lot.
At LSU, we should never name the field/stadium after anyone.
This was clearly a troll thread, BUT: This x1000
I loves les, his dedication to the program and the man he is. But name the football operations facility after him or something. Tiger Stadium is and should always be untouchable.

No. No! No No NO! God! NO!

nah no-one at LSU can match up to what Skip Bertman did here even if Miles won a championship or two more he wouldn't come close.
Skip is one of the greatest coaches of college baseball ever. He made the sport popular more than it ever have been before. Even that would make him historical
but to add on to that he won 5 national championships once in back to back years. Won multiple SEC titles, built a fan base that is so into LSU baseball that we continue to lead in attendance year after year after year.
Skip is leaps and bounds better than Skip so don't even suggest doing something similar with Tiger Stadium

I would prefer they let him finish his career at LSU first but if things continue and he retires at LSU, the man deserves some sort of special recognition for sure. He's been a great representative for LSU. Period.
i agree but not a field named after him only someone who has a career like Skip Bertman can get that honor

Then I'd be able to say I boned a girl on Les Miles Field. Ooh that sounds raunchy.

Let me summarize; even on Christmas I hate Les & love to stir up the LSU fan base? That about right?

Reverse 1/9, follow up the next year and have 3 crystals - Yes
However, no way until he wins it all at with 100% his own recruits.

You should swallow a cup full of nails and chase it with rubbing alcohol.

This. Why should we be like everyone else? Name a building or something after him. But there are others who should get this honor before him, like Dietzel, McClendon, hell, even Stovall or Casanova.

What about Josh Booty Stadium?

The Les Miles Men's Bathroom West Upper is more appropriate

Why would anyone even ask that question?

I agree.
It seems like ever since Cholly Mac, we have had trouble keeping a coach in BR for more than 4 years for a variety of reasons- most of which had something to do with LOSING A $HITLOAD OF FOOTBALL GAMES.
Now we have a man who wants to be here, IS WINNING at an unprecedented rate- and some would still run him out of town.
I wish more people would take a look around the country and see what's happening at some of the major programs. Programs like USC & Texas. Tennessee. Penn State. Michigan. NOTRE DAME. Programs with an unlimited supply of cash- yet currently basking in a sea of mediocrity.
No way in hell would I be willing to trade places with ANY of them. We have it good- better than we've ever had- and some people don't know how to handle it.
It pains me to say it. But it's the truth.
Stability is precious, and means a lot. We have it; many do not.
