These “what if” scenarios remind me of the questions my 9 year old asks.

Maybe so but every team deals with injuries. I think it exposed the lack of depth we have on the d line. Years ago a guy could get hurt and there wouldn't be much of a drop off with the guy taking his place. Not so much anymore.

Maybe A&M because he would have most likely put more pressure on the QB and possibly made him make a mistake. We need him to play at a high level next year for sure!

We beat A&M without him IMO, so we def should have beat them with him. Uf was really close as well, and more of a pass rush might have won that game as well. Had Bama been our only loss, we would have made the playoff.

Gimme Phillips against UF and Chaisson against TAMU and we're 11-1 regular season

Well, this argument is unbeatable.

Both games came down to last minute/possession TD drives. KC makes a difference. Maybe not both, maybe both, but in at least one his ability to create pressure gets it done.

We possibly would have beaten them. But I have a hard time hinging two wins on just one Olb.

We’ve been trying for awhile to do tjis though:

We definitely beat A&M. But winning that game gets us in the Sugar Bowl vs Texas, and with all of the players we had not playing in the bowl game no way we beat them.

So it worked out for the best. Still played in a high profile bowl game, but actually won, giving us a lot of momentum in recruiting.

Yes, if you think of how much of a drive killer a single sack can be. I think we could have won both of those games.

Maybe not florida. O line play was poor that game, I think that is what cost us the game.

Well since we actually won the a&m game but had it stolen, I would say that game is a lot different. Florida game is a different game too. Also, in the Bama game, we stood a better chance to at least get them off the field.

It's a lot of what-ifs, but it forced us to take Devin White out of the middle of the field to blitz damn near every play.

If Phillips wasn’t hurt for Florida, that would’ve been a W.

LSU would have beat Tamu if I were the replay official. No need for Chaisson.

Might have been a better game but I'm not saying a win vs Florida.

No because he would have accidentally crashed into Cole Tracy on a sideline tackle. Tracy would have been lost for the year causing us to lose a game. That would have given the special teams coach a heart attack, which would have affected bowl prep. We would have then lost to UCF, resulting in O getting fired.

I think it’s safe to say KLC getting hurt saved O’s job. Anymore dumb what if questions?
