If K'Lavon Chaisson stayed healthy, would LSU have two more wins?

I think we would have probably beaten Florida with a better pass rush for sure.

The pass rush off the edge really dropped off this year. We had to rely on more stunts up the middle to put pressure on the QB. At least it seemed that way.

More likely for aTm, defense was having problems stopping the run in Florida game but the offensive line was dogshit in that game.

If the dog wouldn’t have stopped to shite, he would have caught the rabbit.
I don’t think that mattered considering how UF and TAMU made LSU one demensional on offense.

We needed him bad at aTm, especially in OT when we couldn't get much pressure.

Of course I think he makes a difference at Florida but it was really their run game that started wearing us down.

aTm for sure, the lack of pass rushers was obvious that game especially in the 4th qtr and ot

Absolutely win both. Youre talking about needing on stop against each to seal win.

He would have made a difference.

I have no doubt and the Alabama would have been closer

because we almost got to Tua a number of times

I really think so, yes. We barely lost both of those games...just a play or two, and those are W's...and Chaisson is definitely good for at least a play or two in both of those SEC road games.

Even without him playing, I think we win the UF game with Phillips. We likely win the A&M game with a man or two more on defense.

What this shows us is that we need an offense. Just missing a defensive player or two is costing us wins, because we simply can't score enough.

Next season, a very important player will be injured.. and the year after that.. and the year after that.. every team has injuries..talking about it is a waste of time.. incuding this response.. but now you know how it feels..

What's your point, though? We need more depth?

Had UCF's QB remained healthy, LSU would have had 1 more loss. So there's that.

Exactly.

Every season will have a "what if" story to tell.

At this level, competing for championships is thriving in spite of injuries, not because you didn't have any.

Had lsu not been missing 8 starters on D it would have been a blowout win.

It should've been a blowout win, anyway...we should've won by 30+ points. But...coaching.
