No. Our offense wasn’t great this year. Couldn’t get out of our own way.

Makes it even more impressive what Aranda did this year.

It looked good here and there, and it came through for us in a couple of games. We were so shocked, as it's been like 5+ years since we've been able to pass the ball at all, that some of us rushed to embrace it.

It was dogshit most of the season, per the usual. Situational play calling is our current problem.

I have no doubt and the Alabama would have been closer because we almost got to Tua a number of times

Yes it only would have been 21-0

Really should of had those 2 wins, anyway. He would have been a plus, though, after the game he had against Miami.

It's possible, I guess, but I don't like the what if game. You can do it all day long and drive yourself crazy at all the possibilities.

Why not just enjoy what we did and look to having him back at full strength for 2019?

That’s a fact. We had to use more middle backs in the rush. Don’t get me wrong you can get significant pressure like that but the edge rush is what frightens QB’s. Then you can use your backers for more coverage and run blitzes. It makes a big difference when you don’t have the legit edge rush that we’ve had in the past.

I think we made Florida more one demensional than they made us until there was no fear of an edge rush from us and Flippy Franks was able to get his legs under him. Then he started hitting passes. And that’s when they scored touchdowns to put them ahead.

Next season, a very important player will be injured.. and the year after that.. and the year after that.. every team has injuries..talking about it is a waste of time.. incuding this response.. but now you know how it feels..

Ya it’s just magnified when you take over a roster than is not constructed up to LSU standards. Last year that really showed when the likes of Key, Guice & Lawrence we’re hurt. This year not as much but losing KLC definitely put more pressure on the DL to make plays.

Anyone think Chaisson wears number 18 next year? 18 represents someone who works hard and has gone through adversity to get where he’s at. I think he’d be deserving of the number

IDK, but maybe if Auburn’s best injured player had been healthy we’d have had another loss.

Lol. I think you may have just posted the first who wears #18 thread of the year. Yea. You’re that guy.

For what it’s worth I think the offer it to Burrow first.

Florida was lost with the absence of Jacob Phillips and an early turnover in plus territory.

Having him back next year will be like finding a cool un-opened Christmas gift left under the tree you found later

I will give you one better and go out on a limb to make this prediction: Next year, if we score every game and our defense shuts out everyone, WE WILL WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Print the shirts!

I really like your optimism, but Chaisson isn’t scoring points for us. It is really hard to win if you don’t score.

He was wrecking Auburn before his injury. I am ready to see him back.
