Brady had a big impact no doubt, but E isn't the problem... look at the offense stats. 3rd down and RZ is our Achilles heel this year... that's on Scott Linehan the PG coordinator who makes those calls(another TERRIBLE hire by O by all accounts). The biggest problem I see is our coaching staff is a bunch of old white guys past their primes. And before you say race shouldn't matter, it does to recruiting.

Unfortunately it looks like Ryan Clark was right in this regard.

Joe Brady obviously had a huge impact but the offense was pretty decent 2 years ago and it's very good right now. The defense is the problem. I think the people who thought Dave Aranda would be easily replaced are the ones to chide.

But you see the problem is you have an OC that requires a Linehan or Brady before him to be the actual OC..

Should your OC need a sub in the red zone and on 3rd downs ?

FWIW I was just talking about these hires. He’s been wrong about a lot of things(Burrow for example) and has done harm to the program recently

I'm not politicking for E. But with the current state of affairs, complaining about E is like getting shot but complaining that you broke your finger when you fell down. There's bigger worries...

Do you think anything is going to happen with Pelini soon? Any change to the defense?

There are bigger worries but there are also things to be concerned about over there that will show up against better competition

Next 2 weeks are the deciding factors... Mullen breaks a foot off in our arse and the wheels turn, and then Muschamp finds a W and he's a Deadman walking.

Good one. I meant with the comment about old white guys you could be Ryan Clark hiding behind the screen name voltiger.

I would have liked to see a change sooner than end of the season. In my mind things that need to happen are: E retires and Linehan is let go. Calloway becomes OC and if they want someone to be PCG then go get a young WR coach or promote Tettleton. Pelini is let go and a young DC is hired such as Richard or Reeves. Bill johnson is let go and young good recruiter is hired. Need to start refreshing the staff.

Best of luck to you on making O step outside his box to do that... It's just not him. Woodward would literally have to force his hand to make that happen.

Even Ensminger was uncomfortable with the charity case everyone made him out to be. Because he knew he wasn’t responsible for that offense.

We have faced the weakest part of our schedule and cant do anything on 3rd downs or in the redzone, and our oline is a mess. Its setting up to be a disaster against better teams. Im worried we may move the ball, but have to settle for field goals and get crushed at florida

Well he better or he won't make it long and will become Chizik. Don't understand because Brady was not in his comfort zone. Neither were Aranda who he kept and Munoz.
