Time to give the Nuss a shot next week at Florida.
Yes I really like Daniels, it seems like he has the opportunity to be a monster but if he can’t make quicker decisions throwing the ball, he needs to be a backup or wildcat guy for the rest of the season until he transfers.
I’m not even worried about him being able to progress to his 3rd and 4th guys I’m concerned with his decision making on his initial target and understanding a check down of necessary. Also he has Aaron Brooks syndrome and zero touch on his velocity on short passes which makes extremely hard to catch as an RB.
Can’t wait till Florida or Alabama to figure out a passing game.
Here is to a great week for Daniels.
I really truly hope the light come ls on for him and the rest of our offensive prospers with him.
DenBrock needs to get his coaching together and call some plays Daniels can be successful at. Denbrocks grade so for IMO has been a solid D so far so really only 2 place to go.
This is as good of a week as any to figure out where we are at and after 6 games it’s time to solidify a choice for the rest of the year.
Geaux Tigers should be a great game.

Nuss starting AT florida would be a disaster. Kid is not ready for prime time

I don’t believe that. He has been a little to risky while Jayden won’t risk a thing. Ain’t gonna win big games like that. Just need to keep Nuss on a leash.
Again, this is ALL on an offensive coordinator to get this stuff in order and help get his leaders ready to play.

You can’t keep your starter on a leash on the road in the SEC. If you’re going to do that there’s zero point to start him

What? We all were an off-season hopeful of his start and he looked shaky on some BS interceptions in a game he was trying to hard to prove something. Never heard of a QB going with a gunslinger approach in their opportunities?

Nuss was literally crapping his pants and lacks the ability to run anywhere near what Daniels can. Starting him anywhere would be a disaster.

So your solution to the offensive woes is to increase the chances for turnovers?

this, some players just have it and others don't. In the brief snaps that Howard had, he looked eminently more comfortable and capable than Nussmeier. It's his team once Daniels leaves.

I really hope they put together a package of plays that JD is comfortable with and run those plays on different formations.

Lost me at @ Florida. So we give this kid a shot on the road with one of our most hated rivals? No thank you.

He would need to build confidence at home against lessor competition than the SEC to give him his best chance at success.

I could see Nuss getting a series or 2 in a game if JD is struggling or not taking chances with guys open or in favorable matchups to make plays. But a start at the swamp scares me.

LOL, JD is in the top 10 rushing in the SEC. Nuss isn't going to make up that much production passing. Not to even mention the TOs.

ETA: Didn't we already do this vs Arky in a game that Max would have won?

You were doing fine till that.
The play calling is fine...the fricking QB just won't throw the ball.
And I'm on his side!

Give Nuss a series or two and see how he does, if anything once JD goes back in he will know if he doesn’t start taking chances with throwing the forward pass he will be pulled again…

That’s why I keep pointing to Denbrock. By now, he should know a handful of plays Jayden can live game action use and not become a liability which to his credit has avoided.

Look, even the uninformed dumbasses on the Networks have said they've asked JD which plays he likes and pulled the rest!
Gawhdahmm, are you watching the broadcasts and listening to CBK?
