If I'm the BIG10, if LSU gets expelled

I am trying to put a death knell in the SEC. To get to 24 teams.
I'd invite
Texas A&M, LSU, Florida St, Miami (FL)
As a southern division. Puts you in Florida and Texas.
Then tell Notre Dame and Stanford how could you not join? If they still say no. Then pivot to two other BIG12 / ACC schools
The SEC could never compete against it.

AFAIK, the big 10 wanted Stanford, but Fox said no. But if the TV network has so much sway in who could join the conference, that could potentially be really good for LSU.

People are vastly overestimating the academics. Its about money and eyeballs. Will LSU be a net positive or negative for the conference. Thats the only question that will be discussed.

As much as I hate them, we should hitch our wagon with the Aggies, I could see them bailing on Texas again. We would be a valuable pair.

If you look at the damage Texas did in the B12, it's only carried over here. They want to be king in the SEC.

Sankey makes sure he was the 10 votes to really send a strong message to LSU, knowing LSU wouldn't vote to expel themselves but LSU has a better offer and votes to expel itself

If I'm the B1G, I park five 18 wheelers full of B1G signage and replacement items for anything labelled "SEC" in Port Allen Thursday morning. Then if the vote to expel LSU succeeds, immediately drive them over the bridge and onto campus.
