re: If I was Kelly then I'd make it clear we're only recruiting run/pass option QB's.

So you wouldn’t recruit Joe Burrow, what a dumb idea. A smart coach knows you tweak your offense based on your talent. One thing that was missing in Saturday’s game was the lack of downfield passes, Nuss’s strength is downfield passes.

why would you ever recruit a drop back passer for the SEC?

Stay with me here

Are you familiar with the QB LSU had prior to Daniels?

His last name rhymes with Furrow. He won a national title and the Heisman and has played in a Super Bowl.

He was and is a drop back passer. He played in the SEC.

You have no fkn idea what Nuss will be like in 2 years

Remember, I was responding to a post that claimed Nuss would be the most successful QB in the NFL that Kelly has ever had. You are right that I don’t “know”. Neither does the poster to whom I replied. But if he, or you, wants to place a bet on who has the better NFL career, or whether Nuss is a day one NFL starter, I’m in!

Giving BK credit for Daniel's has me belly laughing! Which one of you Farmer Frans said that again?

So you want to bet on whether Nuss will be a day 1 starter and who will have the better career long term? All because you are operating off of the current information that Jayden is in the NFL and likely to start? Nuss being a day 1 starter depends heavily on which team drafts him. His long term potential does as well. Betting on either would be insanely stupid unless you're just blinded by bias. Oh wait.

How many rookie QBs are day one starters? Daniel already is. I'll take Daniel against Nuss, or against whomever is our 2030 starter. Th ofds of either being as good as our Heisman winning day one NFL starter are long.

Fat bastard is an 85 year old man who gets out his room after his bed time. I’ve left several complaints with the nurses at his old folks home

Irrelevant. Jayden is undersized for the NFL and the likelihood is a more traditional pocket passer will have a longer career. That's also not what they said anyway.

This was already debunked earlier in the thread.
