What’s crazy is people don’t understand that a Georgia team spent weeks prepping for Daniels who’s a mobile read option qb. He gets hurt and in comes a pocket passer with a rocket arm.

Lmfao it’s way crazier that you don’t understand that a) UGA absolutely did not “spend weeks prepping for daniels”, or b) that UGA has zero disadvantage when adjusting from a non-traditional QB to a traditional QB. Even setting aside the question of how good nuss is at the things he does, the idea that UGA wasn’t prepared for those things is moronic. You don’t think they prepared for a single pass-first QB with mobility? You think a defense with that level of talent advantage is susceptible to a “omg we’ve never seen that before!” game against Garrett nussmeier?

frick no - that’s dumb as hell. Nuss moved the ball on them because he played well, not bc UGA was confused by facing a traditional QB lmfao.

Even when Daniels plays well people STFU about Nuss

And the other games he’s played in? What’s the excuse for that? To say he should start over Daniel’s is idiotic. If Nuss can continue to develope and get the mental aspect of reading defenses and check downs then he can be a good starter. But he’s shown nothing on why he should start over Daniels and mop up duty in a blowout game isn’t a reason. I remember Jennings looking horrible against Ms St and in comes Harris who just lights them up in the 2nd half. We fall short. It just doesn’t mean anything.

Wow must not want to stretch field and have him just run the ball all year, will have the same results

Results will be worse probably. Defenses now know how to defend against him. Unless he can figure out how to spread the wealth, he, and the team, will struggle.

If boutte is coming back I’m thinking daniels isn’t. I think he wouldve transferred if he had concrete evidence daniels is coming back. I thought he shouldve transferred after the florida st game.

And every possession with Nuss - we're excited and on the edge of our seats, holding our breaths.

We know he's gonna let it rip and we might see an explosive, badass play or ....

or .... a turnover.

But it'll be exciting. I honestly hope Nuss gets better at protecting the ball because he has serious arm talent.

Kirby probably just turned on the Auburn, Arkansas, and A&M games and showed it to his guys.

Excitement is what matters. We need to see that ball flying. We need Nussmyers.

Nuss doesn’t need as much time to read the routes and make the throw. In my opinion Daniels who is a great threat to run will likely not play pro ball because you must be able to read the defense and his speed will not translate to the pros. Nuss has a chance because he does read the defense well and generally throws an accurate ball. But Nuss is somewhat mobile. It might be that our coaches decided we needed a mobile quarterback with the o line we had to work with but they have matured and exceeded everyone’s expectation. Seems to me there is a place for both of these guys in our offense Nuss on third and long and daniels on third and short and red zone?
