Imagine what he will do Wil quality QBs who would play for LSU given the talent they will be surrounded by. My gosh…

Yeah case in point is Nathan Peterman. Sean Peyton was pretty enamored with him coming out too, and he threw 7 interceptions in one game.

And even he’s still in the NFL. Although at this point I assume it’s gotta be an inside joke.

Ian isn’t going to be an NFL starting QB, but you can’t judge him too hard after last night. That wasn’t an NFL caliber roster the Saints trotted out last night.

frick covid.

This. I watched a couple of ND games with my FIL and was impressed by Book's mobility and ability to make things happen with his legs. Last night he looked like he was running in quicksand

Sure, Ian is clearly no Joe Burrow or HOF capable quarterback but that poor guy was not ready to start an NFL game. It’s unreasonable to judge him based on that performance.

Dude, just stop. Book wasn’t the issue, it was missing 20+ starters, playing behind a shite guard and literally had four players who were getting fitted for equipment yesterday.

Not a Saints fan and don't watch many of their games but how the hell is Ruiz a normal starter? I thought he was one of those COVID guys but he's the normal starter? He is terrible

Cbk didn't win with Ian book. Could not beat Clemson when It mattered could not beat Bama when it mattered, could not win a playoff game. Well damnit playoffs are on the line and the kid failed to do anything right besides walking to the side lines on 4th down under his own power was the only thing he did right. Why did Sean draft this kid, I honestly don't get it what did he see. He short as fu** can't read defenses, cant win the big game, not aware of what down it is,Fails to get his team to belive, AK definitely not feeling Ian book out there as a qb.

Good thing Book was not the problem because he is the shining star QB development for BK

and then they throw him out there with both starting tackles out and 2-3 days to prepare

Alternatively, you could look at it as BK wasn't able to recruit, or roster manage, a better QB into his system?

BTW, have a downvote and I wish I could downvote more. Book was a fourth round pick by Sean Payton. He clearly has some talent.

The Saints rolled out the worst O line I have seen in a while and zero receivers to throw to. Can’t judge Book on that game. It didn’t look like they had practiced together on offense and play calling was very predictable. Book wasn’t why they lost that game.
