Name the last true freshman that started in the SEC and did well their first year.

Brennan had 2 main issues. Holding onto the ball too long and didn’t set his feet. Wrs constantly made mistakes. Ex the end zone collision that had 3 wr n same spot. Oline missed assignments. Myles actually showed some accuracy w the deep ball. He got
Into a rhythm and at one point was 8 of 10 w a couple scoring drives. So many contributing factors as to why the offense struggled so I’m going to wait and see what they do to adjust before we ask true freshman w a few months in to take over. Hell Burrow was a first round talent and it took him almost a full year to start to really get going. And some of you think a true freshman is gonna come in and do any better. It’s laughable

Johnson should be ready to go by the 5 th series if Brennan hasn’t led 2 scoring drives by then

I guess we’re going to need one of the true freshman to have his Brandon Harris coming out party before our fans return to their senses.

Brennan made first start mistakes NO DOUBT. He also threw for 350+ against a sec defense. Hey over it and stop these dumb ducking post.

What’s crazy to me is that we all know this after 1 game, it seems to me watching Joe 7 days a week for 2 years he might would’ve picked up on that.

Finley gets meaningful reps in one of the next 2 games.

you must not have been paying attention the past decade. Freshman QBs play all over the country, and play very well.

I would 100% play somebody named Max Johnson.

Finley might not have the raw physical tools that Johnson does, but he clearly is light years ahead in being able to break down and understand defenses - the intangible stuff. So, in a pinch, I'd rather go with Finley.

How does anyone know this from HS film? These guys are freshmen we don't know what they will do at the college level.

BUMP

Glad to see that Brennan has made some major improvements since week 1. I guess we see our answer if we end up playing.
